"I've loved Firefly for years, and have gone there perhaps more than any other restaurant in SF. I love the food, the vibe of the place, and the service is always good. However, one caveat. In past years, during winter, we'd usually bundle up to eat there. There is no apparent HVAC system. So it is cold there. Now with Covid, and both doors open, the indoor temperature feels like it's in the They actually offered us blankets when we walked in. They kindly warned us via text the afternoon of the reservation date that it would be cold inside, and prepare for that, it was really ridiculously cold as the wind whipped through the place. The owners either have no way to install a furnace, or can't afford to. I get that. But is you want to go to Firefly on a cold night, you better be prepared. And then bring some extra layers, more than you think you actually need."

Once again Firefly knocked it out of the park! The cozy parklet was toasty warm thanks to the heat lamp. The food was excellent, and the service amazingly attentive. Will definitely be back there soon.

Everything was fantastic. We ordered the brussels sprouts and cauliflower flatbread to start, then added the daikon cake and split the stuffed delicata squash. Basically all vegetarian, and we are not vegetarians. Great bottle of wine and the spiced date pudding for dessert topped off a great meal. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place!

Firefly never disappoints...EVER! They are such a great neighborhood gem with food that always surpasses your expectations in taste, quality, presentation and uniqueness. They treat all of their diners as if they were family and your satisfaction is what they strive for...and achieve. Every employee pitches in to help in any way necessary. This is a direct reflection of the owner's attitude of caring and his commitment to a well run, high quality restaurant.

Still love me some Firefly! I can't believe this was one of the first places I dined at when I moved to SF nearly years ago, and it is still as amazing as ever. The friendly, casual waitstaff, and the warm environment with selections of both comfort cuisine and interesting entrees really make for a wonderful dining experience. Try the pork chop it is one of the best in SF and of course the ocean trout is super delicious and well-prepared. The wine list is always notable and changing so you can always find a new varietal to enjoy. Look forward to coming back!
