"It was my first time dining at Flatlands Bourbon and Bayou restaurant. The restaurant sure had a Cajun theme with a lot of decorations that made me feel like I was in NOLA. The first table we sat at wobbled really badly so we decided to sit outside next to their Koi pond. Onto the food. The bread they use for the oyster po boy was stale and cold in the center. Even though they put grill marks on it and attempted to heat it up. It was not fresh bread. The oysters were chewyand had way too much breading. The gumbo came out luke warm. The food would stay hot longer if you just heat up the cup first. The alligator bite had some sweet sauce on the side which was not a favorite and their version of Remoulade wasnot even close. It had a collection of weird spices. Almost like they used Tony Thatchers to give it a kick. My bayou salad was pretty good other than using unripened tomatoes in it."

This charming little restaurant is tucked away in Alpharetta, and it offers fantastic food and service! I dined in for lunch, and the cost per person was between $10 and $20. I would rate the food a perfect 5 out of 5, along with the service and atmosphere. I highly recommend trying the Cajun Street Corn, Beignets, and Louisiana Cajun Fried Chicken! Voir le carte

The food was exceptional! I had the special for the night, which was blackened mahi served with sauced green beans and dirty rice, along with a gator bite appetizer. It was the best meal I’ve had in a long time. To top it off, we were given an order of beignets as an apology for a mix-up, and they were absolutely amazing! The ambiance of the restaurant is great; it feels cozy, and the drinks and service were fantastic. We will definitely be coming back!

**Dining Experience: Lunch** **Price Range per Person: $20–30** **Recommended Dishes: Beignets, Gumbo** I recently had the pleasure of enjoying lunch at this charming restaurant, and I highly recommend it. The beignets are a must-try—they're light, fluffy, and absolutely delicious. The gumbo is another standout dish, rich in flavor and perfectly seasoned. Overall, for a meal priced between $20 and $30 per person, you get an exceptional dining experience that’s well worth it. Voir le carte

Coming here almost every week. The ladies were very prompt and nice. I should say, they have outstanding customer service. For us to give good tip... is understatement. They deserve more! The Cajun food... oh, it's all good! My favorite... Catfish Pontchartrain and Red Mountain Trout! None can beat these! The place is always full. Well... because it's a relaxing place, with good working people and very good Cajun food! 2 thumbs up, and 5 stars! We're impressed! Good job,#flatlandsandbayou!

Looks great, outdoor seating, nice menu. However, we had a wheel chair guest and no effort made to get this guest into the deck area. Handicapped access blocked by customers. Not appropriate. Most of the Food was very good except the baked oysters. They were way overcooked, shriveled and would not release for the oyster shell. Surprised they served them. Wheelchair accessibility: We had a wheel chair bound family member. Employees standing at front door offered to help lift our guest over the three front stairs. However there is an easier /ramp access available but did not offer to tell us. Not good.

"I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bang Bang Katsu House, and I must say, it was a great experience. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with warm and friendly smiles from the staff, creating an inviting atmosphere. The restaurant's interior is modern and stylish and the decor of its cafe side of the restaurant was very instagrammable worthy with the floral wall. The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the katsu dishes. Bang Bang Katsu House specializes in this Japanese comfort food, and their expertise shines through in each bite. The menu offers a wide variety of katsu options, rice bowls, and ramen. For the table, my wife and I shared the bulgogi rice bowl, pork katsu, and tonkotsu ramen. The tonkatsu was cooked to perfection, tender on the inside with a golden-brown crust that gave a satisfying crunch. The bulgogi rice bowl had a nice balance of veggies, meat and rice. The ramen was just okay, but it was still delicious and satisfied our cravings. The service at Bang Bang Katsu House was impeccable. The waitstaff was attentive and knowledgeable, readily offering recommendations and ensuring that everything was up to par. The food arrived promptly, and the presentation was eye-catching.To top off the amazing meal, the dessert menu next door (Cafe Bora) featured some tempting options. I couldn't resist ordering the Purple Yam snow ball and it was the perfect ending to our dinner. My wife had the Taro Milk Tea and she also enjoyed it.Overall, my experience at Bang Bang Katsu House was exceptional. The combination of flavorful katsu dishes, attentive service, and inviting atmosphere made it an unforgettable dining experience while visiting Alpharetta. Whether you are a fan of Japanese cuisine or simply looking for a quick meal, Bang Bang Katsu House is a must-visit restaurant."
