"The kitchen seemed to be having a hard time. It took 45 minutes to receive the first course and 90 minutes for the entree. Although the staff was trying their best, the wait times for the food were quite long. The food was good to excellent, and the service was also excellent, offering good value overall. My only suggestion would be for diners to be informed about any kitchen delays and given the option to stay or leave."

I highly recommend this restaurant! Our server, Luca, was extremely knowledgeable about both the food and cocktails. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious, and the presentation was stunning.

What a great experience and atmosphere! It was a lovely way to reconnect with family. The food was amazing and I couldn’t pick just one dish as my favorite. From beginning to end I savored every bite! Compliments to all the FOH and BOH. We’ll be back soon!

Business meeting and food and service was great. Baja wines are served and the Tempranillo red blend was outstanding Got the bone-in Tomahawk steak and it was enough to feed all 3 of us. Complimented with 2 sides. Highly recommend. Some of the best food in The OC. Easy parking. Voir le carte

A very fine restaurant, although a little pricey. Really good food and nice ambience. The service was very good! The kitchen is a little slow since everything is made to order when you place it. As long as you are not in a hurry, which you shouldn't be, this restaurant is a gem!

A fabulous dining experience. Creative, delicious, and beautifully plated dishes from start to finish! Elevated dishes with fresh ingredients and meticulous attention to detail. The service was attentive and non-pretentious. And the ambience was relaxed, casual, but also elegant. So happy Gema chose to open in San Clemente! We will definitely go back and spread the word that Gema is a true gem!
