The service was bad... had to wait more than 30m between appetizers and mains! They did not have the only fish in the menu. Wine was not good. And very very expensive

The creative menu and outstanding cocktails would be enough to make us return, but the exceptional service ensures that this place will definitely become a regular stop for us. It's truly a gem in our town!

For the price point the food needed to be much better than it was. Everything was under impressive and under seasoned. For an empty restaurant there was a long lag in between courses. Sadly would not recommend so many better Mexican options near by. Visualizza piatti

Some interesting flavors but overall the food didn't have anything interesting to recommend. Really disappointed in the tortillas. They came to the table cold and very chewy. To bring yellow dessert was the highlight. The staff was lovely, great service, but the food didn't equal the price.

We had our first visit to Gema and it left a great impression on us. The atmosphere is elegant, the service is top-notch, and both the food and cocktails were exceptional. The presentation of each dish was also impressive. We will certainly be back. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience.

The menu is very interesting. The Chile relleno was amazing and the ceviche was also very good. Unfortunately, my sea bass was very undercooked. The Mexican wine list is impressive but the least expensive red is $70 which I think is a little steep. The food at Gema was simply remarkable. It rivals the best restaurants in Mexico City. Our group of four started with shared plates for the first course, and every dish was incredibly delicious, unique, and packed with flavor, prompting us to share entrees as well. Be sure not to miss dessert, and the white wine flight is exceptional. This is an experience you won't want to miss.

We arrived promptly at 7 PM for our reserved. It took 20 minutes for them to just bring us water. It took a total of 40 minutes just to get our drinks. It took 50 minutes to get our appetizer. An hour and 15 minutes after we had been there the server tells me that the fish I ordered at 7:30 pm is no longer available. My husband and I ended up splitting a steak dinner that was average at best $55). We did not even get that meal until one and a half hours after we had been there. All the waiter could tell us is that they were slammed. They did not even have the decency to comp one of the sides we had ordered to compensate for me not having my own fish meal. Sadly, disappointed. I don't know h til now that I'm not a Mezcal person. That said — our server was very sweet; extra points for her adorable accent. That said — her recommendations were off... we had: papas; broccoli; device; dieanzno, chilled relleno, seabass . Temperature was off — salad was probably my my favorite. Wine was ok; dessert was great. The social reviews brought us in to celebrate a milestone. Bummed we didn't have a better experience. Bus boy needs to smile and consider changing his behavior.
