"Is there a new chef at Heirloom???? Used to be my FAV restaurant in Glen Head, but went tonight and ordered the horseradish crusted salmon with sides of spinach/mushrooms and fingerling potatoes. Our party of three waited over an hour to be served after flagging our waiter down numerous times to take our drink and dinner order. Salmon was grey and very overcooked, potatoes were very greasy and mushrooms chewy.......I was SO dissapointed! I don't think I will return.............."

Loved ot there! There was only one waiter when we went and he was a total pro too. I can't imagine the stress but he kept it cool and the food was fantastic!

EXCELLENT!!! Great food. Great service. A three-star restaurant that feels comfortable rather than 'stuffy '. This establishment really is an 'Heirloom ' of civilized dining.

Normally I would always give Heirloom a five star rating. We went for Mothers Day. Uh oh! We were seated at the table closest to the kitchen and my organic chicken was tiny and well done. Disappointing… because I forgot to lower my expectations.
