Love this place for their consistency. I live in Cincinnati but I am in Columbus for a Realtor conference. Enjoyed dinner at the Easton location and it felt like home! Great food and service!!

Food is good and decently priced, in my opinion. It was entirely too loud in the restaurant and the waitress could hardly hear us. She also seemed kinda short and unfriendly. But whatever. I'll be back.

The service and atmosphere were pleasant. However, the quality of the food in relation to the price was very disappointing. The dishes were overly salted, the walleye special was dry, and the broccoli had a fishy taste. I do not plan on returning to this restaurant. Voir le carte

We have previously had wonderful experiences at both of these restaurants with no issues. However, our most recent visit did not meet the standards we had come to expect. Our Prime Rib dinner was quite difficult to eat, as we were provided with a serrated knife instead of a steak knife. It felt like we were sawing through a piece of wood. After our meal, the manager did speak with us and gave us a certificate to partially cover the cost of our meal. The high price of our meal coupled with the subpar service made this anniversary dinner a disappointment.

I would recommend J.Alexanders, but not on this experience. Here are the reasons why: 1) We have stated on our reservation that we are celebrating a birthday, but it has never been recognized by the host or server. 2) The service was slow and almost never saw our server when we, he was not friendly at all. 3) There was a problem with my ribeye being hard, so I asked to exchange it with another. The manager came out and explained (understood) that if I had another ribeye, it would be from the same piece of beef so recommended to get something else.
