Wonderful experience at James Place this evening! The food is artisan, something you would not expect at first sight. The Walleye with rice pilaf and a touch of vegetables was amazing! Friends had the chicken pot pie, which is a hearty meal and thesteak with onion strips that looked absolutely mouth watering. After our meal, the chef came out personally and asked how thingswent. He explained how the fish is procured and little tidbits on food prep. James Place is smaller with a casual atmosphere,the food and service were excellent!
