Jocko's Steakhouse - Carte

The absolutely best file I've ever had. I live in Nipomo and I eat in other places. But Jockos Steaks are the best of the best. Cooked to perfection!

steak burger with mushrooms was hooked. the meat is cooked over red egg wood, which gives the high quality meat a delicious, smokey taste. great service. more busy place to get a reservation.

If you ever come to California.,., definitely need to come here and check it out..I guess we should have called for a reservation because this place was packed and we had to wait maybe an hour but it was worth it.. the calamari was man it was all meat.. Voir le carte

Had the beef ribs and baked potato. I love that these have a lot of meat and are NOT covered in BBQ sauce. They were juicy and seasoned perfectly for a dry rub. Friday night was CRAZY busy but food was worth it. Parked my rig in the adjacent dirt parking lot, plenty of room there!

4 of us ordered the 20oz fillet medium rare. All 4 came back rare to raw. Had to send them back. Took nearly 20 minutes to get them back. I’m going to chalk it up to a new person on the grill. Plus the cuts had a lot of fat on them. Disappointed this time around. Has always in the past been great

This isn’t our first visit, and we absolutely love this place. The food is fantastic, offering great value for high-quality steaks and grills. The service is always friendly and helpful. Even though we live in San Luis Obispo, we don’t mind making the half-hour drive to Nipomo just to eat at Jocko’s. We’re always delighted to be there! Voir le carte

Staff, food and service are excellent. Jockos was pleasantly better than expected. Steak cooked a perfect medium well. Juicy and full off flavor. We sat in the bar area. Wanted to catch the game. It does get busy. Reservation is a must. The only thing I didn't like... the bar patrons were less than desired. Many were rude. I do realize it was the bar portion of the restaurant, but definitely manners and etiquette are missing with most there. Other than that I strongly recommend it, a delicious meal is guaranteed.

The most important factor: the food was GREAT. I ordered the 20oz ribeye steak and it was perfectly seasoned and cooked to my desired doneness. The garlic bread was good but not special, like most Santa Maria style barbeque. The meal came with a salad, a relish tray, salsa (for crackers? , Garlic bread, beans, and ice cream. But all of the sides really do play second fiddle to the steak, not sticking out at all. I ordered the fried calamari as an appetizer and was pleasantly surprised to find breaded and fried strips of calamari steaks instead of rings. The texture was perfect and the breading was good.
