"Once we finally got seated, it took a while for our waitress to come over and take our drink orders. We declined the spinach dip, but it still arrived at our table. We returned it, and the lady who delivered it said we could keep it. My wife’s second beer took 15 minutes to arrive, and we slowly nibbled on the complimentary chips and salsa, growing increasingly curious about the long wait for our food. I’ve visited many Mexican restaurants, and there’s usually a quick turnaround for orders due to the nature of the menu. Eventually, the waitress checked on us—not to refill my tea, but to apologize for the delay and offer us a free dessert. After an hour from when we ordered, our food finally arrived. I have a lot of experience with places like this and expected my plate to be sizzling at 500 degrees, but my meal was very hot; however, my wife’s was not. Her dish came with cold toppings like lettuce and sour cream, but the hot items beneath them were lukewarm at best. It seemed like there might have been some mix-up with my order, and they didn’t want to redo her entire plate. I understand that reheating a dish topped with cold ingredients can ruin its quality. Neither of us complained too much but did mention it to our waitress when she checked on us again, still without refills. She kindly removed my wife’s meal from our bill and offered us dessert once more, which we declined. Overall, the experience didn't meet our expectations."

Food and drinks were fantastic. I had the Baja Burrito! ???? Would 've been 5 stars had the waitress not delivered check prematurely with the comment no rush and then obviously rush to be paid.

Our server, Kat, gave us outstanding service. She treated everyone with great respect, kept our drinks topped off, and brought our food out quickly. While many restaurants are facing challenges during the pandemic, this one is certainly doing things right!

Jose Pepper's Mexican was very busy during lunchtime today. Luckily, we arrived at 11:30 before the rush. Sam, who served us, was excellent and very polite. The food took a bit longer to arrive than I expected, but it was fresh and hot with good flavor. Some of the tortilla chips, however, were broken.

Sorry didn't eat here dishes was too dirty. We sent the silverware back twice. In the end we asked for plastic ware in closer packaging. All dished run through the same dishwasher so you tell me what the deal was here. The family decided to eat here. I myself took a rain check. The food did look good. I will try them again some other day, just not today.

I forgot to take any photos, but this was my first time dining at a Jose Pepper's restaurant, and I was really impressed. It had the feel of an upscale Mexican dining experience. The guacamole is one of my favorites, and theirs is among the best I've had in a long while—definitely no underripe avocados! I also tried their queso dip, which was equally impressive. Naturally, I indulged in a couple of margaritas and then had the Enchilada Trio for dinner. Honestly, those were the best enchiladas I've ever tasted, no exaggeration. There was even a delightful surprise: a small portion of sweet corn cake, which is something you rarely find at Mexican restaurants. Someone at my table ordered fajita...
