"Tried this restaurant about 5 years ago and it was terrible, the chicken was rubbery, there was just nothing about anything we had that was better than mediocre. Although the dessert we had was good. We decided to give it another try after someone was raving about the short ribs. We had to get a reservation months in advance. I was expecting the food to be much better since it 's always so busy. I 'll start with the positives, service was good, food came out fairly quickly, they serve pretty good bread with both butter and olive oil dip, and all of that was really good. The french fries are fresh cut and those were also good, although the garlic and gorgonzola dipping sauces were quite bland. The key lime pie was fantastic although it was a pretty small piece for $12, extremely overpriced! Everything on the menu is overpriced. They had a sweet potato maple bourbon bisque that was really great, creamy texture and great flavor. My friend got the pork belly but was unimpressed. I was so excited for the short ribs, the waiter said they had been braised all day and that it 's a customer favorite. It was so disappointing, I went to cut into it with my fork expecting it to be tender and fall apart and it was so tough I had to use a knife to cut it, it was not tender. Flavor was mediocre. But the texture was extremely disappointing. The mashed potatoes were decent, nothing to write home about...as was the asparagus. Will definitely not be back, way overpriced for disappointing quality. If you want delicious, fork tender, fall off the bone, melt in your mouth, short rib... go to vault@237. response to owner* actually the waiter said maybe it was a bad cut or fatty that WASNT the issue. they were not cooked properly to be tender. why would i wait around for you to cook them for another 30 minutes til they were as tender they shouldve been in the 1st place?! as for bringing in water bottles we arent interested in drinking chemical tap water...i review restaurants regularly and you are the only person that has ever said a word about it...so no, most restaurants do not have that policy. you say you allowed us, as if you think you have the right to control if people drink their own filtered water. thats absurd!"

If you want a true dining experience,,,this is the place. The servers have been trained well. Jared was our waiter was very knowledgeable about menu items. Water was filled dirty plates removed without being asked. Food was delicious. Lobster Linguine, devine. The Cosmo was smooth delicious. Well worth the 2 month wait for a reservation. Après avoir vérifié les avis en ligne, planifiez un déjeuner d'affaires de dernière minute. Nous n'avons pas été déçus. De la provolenta (je pense que c'est le nom) et des entrées de crevettes farcies au délicieux filet et à la tartinade pour les petits pains, notre repas était délicieux. Le propriétaire était derrière le bar et était très arrangeant. Je reviendrai certainement lors de ma prochaine visite dans la région.

Went to Lucia's for our Anniversary. VERY LOUD! Waitress was kind of uppity. Waited a while for our cocktails. Ordered the shrimp cocktail. Came quickly, shrimp were huge, the homemade cocktail sauce was congealed and not appetizing. Not very flavorful either. We ordered the 16 oz strip to share (which I don't think the waitress appreciated) along with several sides. The steak was cooked medium rare as ordered, however it was tough and grisly. Disappointing underwhelming anniversary dinner. Probly will not return.
