"We had brunch at The Black Cow on Labor Day and don't know if we're going back. It's a shame because the food and drinks are excellent. We had to wait an hour to finally get seated. This long wait always happens. The service was poor and the waiters waitresses were all rushing around to serve people. They were also very noisy. Just watching them stressed us out. Our waitress hurriedly took our order and forgot to bring water to my Son after he asked five times. He had to ask twice for his side order of sausage and for coffee refills. He never got the side order of salsa he asked for. I asked for a refill of soda water and she brought me water. She clearly wasn't doing her job. We spent almost a $100 there and it wasn't a good experience. It seems like the restaurant could benefit with some reorganization and training. Good food is one thing but you won't find good service at The Black Cow."

"Ordered a Chili Colorado Tostada, but all I got was a pile of lettuce and 2-3 small bites of meat on the outside of the tostada to make it look like it had meat on it. I felt like the Wendy 's Ladies saying where 's the beef from the old commercials. Service and drinks were ok, but food was disappointing."

"The food was delicious, as always. We opted to sit indoors because the weather was cold and drizzly, but they kept the door open, which didn’t help with the chill. Our food took a long time to arrive, and I’m not sure if it was due to a staffing issue or a large party we couldn't see. We enjoyed our sangria and appetizer while we waited, but the entrees took over 45 minutes to come out. We will definitely return, as it might have just been an off night."

"I don't know where to start... I have never received the level of service and generosity that I received at Kebab Daddy today. When I went to order, they had extra meat on the grill. Perhaps they anticipated a busier dinner rush, but I have never been offered free food. I've worked at restaurants that would never do this, and would rather throw away the food than give it away for free. I did end up paying for the meal and the manager insisted that I get extra meat and sides because he wanted to make good on his offer. Even apart from this kindness, the food stands on it's own. The ingredients were fresh and high quality. My favorite was the chicken shish, especially because I have a weakness for chicken thigh. It was tender, juicy, and flavorful. The Daddy's Famous Lule was really good too. The grilled veggies were a nice complement to the meats. The hummus was good enough to get again, but not my favorite part of the meal (it's just a side, so no biggie). But, I did love the freshness of the house mix. What was meant to be a quick bite turned out to be an experience that has made a loyal Kabob Daddy customer of me."

"Hello, Pizza! A beautiful, family-run establishment that serves creative and well-made pizzas... including their speciality that can be added to any pizza, a crust filled with “Sweet Potato Mousse”. Now I'm not a pizza archaeological... the stuffed crust phenomenon seemed to me more and more a gimmick... I mean, okay other pizza places, there's extra cheese in the crust. Nice... but a sweet potato mousse in the crust? Please sign me! I had a potato pizza (yes people, a POTATO PIZZA filled with mousse, without bacon and beef. It was super delicious with potatoes on top, corn, onions, cheese and sauce. The mousse was delicious. The potatoes were, strangely, the least exciting part... they looked good, but felt like more of a reflection on the pizza. My wife enjoyed the gluten-free veggie pizza... It is a standard gluten-free crust (not so exciting, but with a very generous amount of vegetables on the top. (They offer a vegan cheese, but she went back. Our child had a heart-shaped mushroom pizza. Hi. I mean, kids will like everything in a unique form... so well made catering for children Hello pizza! (Hello, by the way.) It's a very nice place with games, a lego table for children and occupied by very nice people! Hi Pizza (hi, is a unique pizzeria spot to see in a sea of mostly the same pizzeria joints. If you are in the region of La Cañada Flintridge, it is worth checking."
