"Dear Hubby and I have dined here a number of times since I posted my first review of them in 2016. We enjoy it, and it's a family friendly place, as well. Having the bakery onsite is a bonus. On a recent visit, the food quality wasn't quite as good as previous times. DH had the meatloaf, which was tasty, but on the dry side. Lots of gravy helped cover that over, but he didn't finish it, so I had it for lunch today and the texture was definitely not moist. Still had good flavor, though. I went for the fish tacos. I actually would have preferred the fish as a fish chips affair, as the well prepared white fish got lost in the tacos. Might even be better on a bun fish sandwich. I'll try to remember for another time. We enjoy their colorful, whimsical vintage vibe for the décor. The old fashioned belt driven fans overhead reminds one of bygone days. They'd added some bunny decorating touches, and colorful eggs in the spirit of Spring and Easter. Our server was friendly and charming, but not always readily available when we needed him. They weren't that crowded on a Wednesday evening, so that could have been smoother. The chocolate raspberry cake was excellent, and a very good value in these days of dessert prices soaring way past $10. It was just $5.95, and it really hit the mark as far as presentation and flavor profile. Dear Hubby opted for pie. They only had apple, but it was cinnamon y with a perfect flaky crust. Great finish to the meal. Tip from a friend if you order the California Chicken Salad, definitely have the dressing on the side, because it gets watered down among the greens and doesn't deliver a taste profile that's very interesting."

"We lived in Montrose 30 years ago and Joselitos was our go-to family restaurant. Our plans for the weekend took us to the area and I thought, why not? I am not exaggerating, the food was every bit as we remembered it! The albondigas soup is the best I 've had outside of Mexico. It has spice in the broth and the generous meatball has me wanting more! If you are looking for Sonoran-style Mexican food, you won 't find it better than Joselitos. The chips are toasty, the salsa is fresh, the rice and beans that come with most meals are delicious and flavorful. My traditional margarita was perfect, with the lime flavor coming through and not too sweet. I look forward to going back and not waiting 30 years!"

"The food was delicious, as always. We opted to sit indoors because the weather was cold and drizzly, but they kept the door open, which didn’t help with the chill. Our food took a long time to arrive, and I’m not sure if it was due to a staffing issue or a large party we couldn't see. We enjoyed our sangria and appetizer while we waited, but the entrees took over 45 minutes to come out. We will definitely return, as it might have just been an off night."

"Recently booked Kebab Daddy for one of our events in Tarzana. I gotta say we're so glad we found Kebab Daddy. When we placed the order on their website, we were not very sure whether we did it right, but immediately after the order we received a call from John. He was able to explain things to us and has hooked us on our custom order. He even went and asked if we needed them to place the food in the feces or should deliver them closer to the time to make sure that the food is still hot when the guests arrive, etc. Trust me, we worked with many restaurants before we are catering, but no one had asked us these questions. "Hello Pizza is a charming family-owned restaurant that offers delicious and creative pizzas, with their specialty being a crust stuffed with Sweet Potato Mousse that can be added to any pizza. I was pleasantly surprised by the unique twist on the stuffed crust, as I found the mousse to be delicious. I tried the potato pizza with the mousse, which was topped with potatoes, corn, onions, cheese, and sauce. While the potatoes were a bit underwhelming, the overall flavor was fantastic. My wife enjoyed the gluten-free veggie pizza with a generous amount of veggies on top. They also offer vegan cheese as an option. Our child loved the heart-shaped mushroom pizza, and the restaurant had a fun and friendly atmosphere with games and a Lego table for kids. Overall, Hello Pizza is a standout spot in the La Cañada Flintridge area and definitely worth a visit."
