"The funky cows were what drew us in, Ricky was the reason we stayed, and the food is why we?ll be back. We took an aimless Saturday drive and stumbled upon the town of Hammonton, NJ, and saw the Funky Cow Cafe right away. Ricky, the owner, is such a love! He sold us on the Veggie Lovers savory waffle sandwich and we were not sorry. It was so delicious, we?re not sure we can ever go back to boring ?ole ordinary sandwiches. We also ordered the mac cheese which was divine. The restaurant is fun and yes, funky, with window bar seating and several larger tables for dining in. There?s cow seats outside (pictured) along the Main Street of this quaint little NJ town. This is a great stop off point along the road to the Jersey shore or Atlantic City. Note: they are only open Wednesday through Sunday so plan accordingly."

"Dîner d'anniversaire avec nos deux enfants de 8 et 10 ans. Nous avons décidé de nous asseoir sur le porche un soir de juin assez humide et les ventilateurs de plafond ont fait une brise agréable. Nous constatons que la plupart des restaurants sont trop climatisés, mais le métro 8 ne semblait pas être un frigo même lorsque nous sommes entrés - c'est un énorme avantage pour moi! Notre serveuse était très gentille et attentionnée sans interférer. Elle a noté que c'était agréable de voir des enfants avec des livres (et des mathématiques dans notre conversation) au lieu d'iPad. Les steaks que mon mari et moi avons commandés étaient comme annoncé et délicieux. Les pages aussi. Nos filles ont adoré leur poulet grillé. Les cocktails étaient bons et juste la bonne force. Hautement recommandé."

"UPDATE REVIEW : the owner called and apologized and made things right. Went back to the restaurant and everything was great. The best part was we had the best waitress Pam take care of us. Thank you. I brought my family of 8 on Tuesday at 6pm 8/20. The hostess told me 40 minutes. After 60 minutes I went back in to check on the wait. The hostess told me there is a table done eating but the children were still on their IPads. She couldn't give me an estimate of how long. After an hour and a half I went back in it's now 7:30 I have 8 hungry people. I was a 1 year old and 3 teenagers. I was told again the kids were still on their iPads. They couldn't ask them to leave. I asked to speak with the manager who told me she can't ask them to leave. We waited another 30 minutes. 2 hours we weren't seated. At this point we leave. So they wouldn't ask the paid customer to leave after lingering after their meal but they lost about $400 check that we would of all spent. My family has been a long time customer of this establishment for well over 10 years. They did nothing to rectify this issue. Multiple people came in with groups of 4 and were seated. They didn't offer to spilt up our family or try to accommodate us in any way. Reached out via email with no response."

"For example, you currently cannot order a large pizza to eat on-site; large pizzas are take-out only. When I inquired about this, I pointed out that with four kids, we typically order two to three large pizzas. Unfortunately, no explanation was given. My assumption is that now that they have a liquor license, they prefer to focus on serving plated meals and alcoholic beverages rather than accommodating families or groups looking to share pizzas. Today, when I tried to place a larger order, I was informed that I couldn't split toppings on a large pizza. My kids don’t like mushrooms, but I do. Additionally, they stated that they couldn’t exclude parmesan cheese from the tomato pie since my husband is vegan. When I asked why, I was told it was because they would need to make a new pizza. I couldn't believe it; they intended to sell us a premade pizza rather than customize one for us. I'm sincerely disappointed because I adore their pizzas, and their new drink menu looks intriguing. However, I struggle to support a business that is unaccommodating to long-time customers. We often eat at other places like Bruni’s, Mario’s, Nino’s, and Brother’s, and I sadly feel that I must recommend you take your business elsewhere."

"As a gluten-free customer there is always something nice to eat for lunch or a short bite before a show at the Eagle Theatre. Whenever I'm a tiramisu (Italian for pick-me-up), I'm going for gluten-free cupcakes with the absolutely best coffee. In summer I can't keep away from the icy blueberry-hibiscus ice tea! I love their support for local artists and always find something interesting on their walls. I went to a poetry slam once. I make all my local meetings in Cascianos! Can you say I love this place?!!!"
