"We each started with a slice, which arrived quickly and hot—just how it should be. After our first bites, we exchanged approving nods. Unlike many other pizza places in Philadelphia and its suburbs that tend to overdo the cheese, leading to it sliding off with a single bite, that isn’t the case at Bruno's! Another highlight is the pizza sauce—it’s robust, sweet, and hints at herbs and spices, just as good pizza sauce should be. Overall, the pizza strikes the perfect balance of cheese, sauce, and a crust that’s both crispy and chewy—truly pizza perfection. Next, we tried their cheesesteak with American cheese and onions. They use fresh rolls that are soft yet remarkably hold all the meat and cheese together, making for a fantastic cheesesteak. What sets Bruno's cheesesteak apart is that they season their meat, offering a flavor profile that’s much richer than the typical, dry meat and cheese you find at many other places. The combination of the seasoned meat, onions, and cheese in that soft roll makes this one of the best cheesesteaks I’ve ever had in Philadelphia. I’ve been to all the popular spots: Steve's Prince of Steaks, Geno's, Pat's, Jim's on South St., and Dalessandro's Steaks, and I can confidently say you need to try a cheesesteak from Bruno's to understand what I mean. To finish our meal, we ordered chicken wings. They are breaded and fried in the style that many of us Philadelphians grew up enjoying from local seafood places and pizzerias. The wings were cooked perfectly, and that first bite into the crispy breading had me hooked. I read some reviews claiming the chicken was undercooked, but I would have to disagree. It’s possible for properly cooked chicken to look red or even bleed at the thigh bone due to pigments from the bone marrow seeping through the thin bones of these young birds, causing a slight tint. I recommend enjoying a slice while waiting for your pizza to be ready. If you’re in the area, this is the place to visit! Pro tip: reheat your pizza on the stove to regain that fresh-from-the-oven taste and texture. Avoid microwaving your leftovers—don’t be an amateur!"

"Trevi is one of our fave places to eat both for casual snacks (aps and pizza) as well as some outstanding dinner entrees This time we brought another couple with us for their 1st time. While the food was totally awesome as always (the friends literally licked their plates clean) I believe the server was new. And while she absolutely tried... it somewhat fell short. Had to remind her couple of time to bring glasses for water in the beginning and the clearing of empty dishes from the table was lagging (and with 4 people pretty much hitting every course that started adding up fast and we were running out of room) Nothing horrible would not deter us from coming back by no means but just hoping that the young lady learns reasonably fast Else great evening as expected"

"Nous avons eu un bon repas pendant la période des fêtes. Nous étions les SEULES personnes dans tout le restaurant. Les portions sont grandes. La brochette d'agneau était super tandis que le poulet et le porc étaient bons. Nous avons adoré un fromage feta dans une pâte phylo avec du miel. Cependant, le grand miss était la pieuvre. C'était une portion énorme mais grossièrement trop cuite et moelleuse. La serveuse était très cordiale. Cependant, à la fin du repas, il était surprenant que, puisque nous étions les seules personnes dans tout le restaurant, je devais littéralement aller à la réception pour demander le chèque car elle était MIA. Dans l'ensemble, nous soupçonnons que le chef principal ne travaillait pas cette nuit-là, ce qui explique les problèmes, mais c'était une bonne et meilleure option par rapport à d'autres restaurants grecs locaux comme Arpeggio."

"While Emoji is still a decent restaurant, it doesn't quite live up to the outstanding experience it offered when it first opened. I've noticed a significant change in the service. During several visits with different dining companions, our server awkwardly lingered around our table, both after we finished eating and even while we were still dining, seemingly eager for us to leave. The restaurant wasn't busy during these visits, and we had only been there for about 30 to 45 minutes. The sushi generally remains good; however, on our last visit, my daughter found the kids' noodles quite unappetizing due to excessive greasiness. I hope the restaurant can make some improvements and return to its previous level of excellence."

"overall was a pleasant experience. we had to ask someone to sweep the table, extremely dirty. the waitress came out immediately and picked up the opposite. it was not too full and we came to 4 o'clock, just a few tables. it seemed that the front of the house was short personal. it took a very long time to get our appetizers out of the kitchen. we have mentioned that it was the birthday of my man, got a nice dessert to sing “ Happy birthday to him”. that's his favorite restaurant."
