"We have eaten here many times since it opened but our experience last night was just terrible. The service was absolutely abysmal. We sat for 15 minutes before a server acknowledged us and took a drink order- 10 more minutes to receive drinks. I had to go looking for silverware when the server dropped off chicken wings with no plates no napkins, no silverware. After waiting 10 minutes and the chicken starting to get cold, I went and pulled silverware off of other tables. The salmon was not prepared correctly and tasted off. The steak was very tough, but most of all the service was absolutely horrendous.  not one time did somebody come to check on us, I had to flag down somebody for everything that we needed. Five different entrées arrived at Vasili different times, so we weren’t even able to all eat together. Both bartenders at the bar were doing shots in front of guests. I just can’t even believe this is the same restaurant. I think the most ironic thing is when we made our reservation. We indicated that we had a birthday in our party of five, I don’t know if that means that we get extra horrendous service or what but what a disappointing experience all the way around. I am bummed because we have eaten here 2 to 3 times a month since they opened and never had a problem. I don’t know if last night was just a fluke or what but we will not be going back anytime soon."

Fun night at McCrays! They were packed but I had made a reservation. We were a large party but our server did an amazing job! Food came out quickly at the same time!:

Food was great! It was our first time going as we frequent The Mill more, and had never gone to McCray's. This is certainly a family business that thrives on making customers feel good and happy.

Overall it was nice. We had the whole outdoor patio to ourselves which was nice. The buffet was pretty and the food was set out pretty. It wasn't extraordinary the pork loin was very dry but the turkey and salmon were excellent. I was only able to eat one plate and didn't get seconds or more so the value wasn't that great for us. If we were bigger eaters, that would be great. Most of the food was good, but I'm a picky eater, so I wouldn't judge by me. I would do it again potentially.

The restaurant and the food are good. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the trivia night that was going on. However, there were two problems. First of all, our service was awful. It took 30 minutes before we were able to get our server to take our order. After that, food was slow to arrive and whenever we needed something (utensils, napkins, salt, etc. , she was nowhere to be found. Secondly, we were charged more money for not paying with cash. The food was already overpriced for what we were getting, but to then have to pay more because we used credit was ridiculous.
