"This was my first time to Mac’s and all I’d been hearing around town for years was “gotta try it”! So we were in the square and decided to give it a shot. The ambience was nice at first glance but as you keep looking around, it lacked a certain uniqueness I was hoping to find in such a recommended spot. Our sever was kind, prompt and attentive, but our menu tour was more of a laundry list of items on the menu rather than a guide into why Mac’s is so “known”. We ended up splitting the 14oz NY Strip and the side dish trio. We ordered mid rare, and it came that way, but somehow they managed to keep a reddish/pink center while still burning the outside. I’m glad we got the side trio( we chose Mac n cheese, asparagus and fries) bc if we had only gotten one side I would’ve wondered if they were all mid like this. Turns out they are… and the Mac n cheese tasted microwaved. So with ordering only the steak(69) and trio sides (18) our total came out to about $89 and some change. With a 20% tip we spent $107. The staff was kind all around, but the food was not hitting it. It could totally be that my expectations of this place were different from what I experienced, but with going out to eat getting increasingly more expensive, the perception of value HAS to be there, and it just was not there on this one —"

"Came here because it has many good reviews. 1.6 k and 4 stars, so I gave it a shot, and I am glad I did. We started with the Pekelia Sampler. Four different dips with pita bread. All of them were good. The best to least in my opinion was the spicy feta, the tzatziki, the hummus, and the eggplant. The Eggplant was a bit too bland, in my opinion. It also comes with a side salad which was a plus. For our main my wife ordered the Falafel wrap and I ordered the Chicken Souvlaki. The falafel tasted excellent. The Greek potatoes were perfectly tender and seasoned well! The chicken was also seasoned well and extremely tender. Not dry at all. My only criticism is that I wish the servers were a bit more attentive. I had to flag them down a few times. They were courteous every time. I definitely recommend this place and will be back in the future"

"The establishment seems to have great reviews, so my mother and I decided to stop here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. The dining room was pretty disgusting, to be blunt the walls were white and had old, dried food on them, the soy sauce containers had sticky hand prints all over them and the table was sticky.The women 's restroom was worse there was a sewage smell that came from the restroom and the floors had lots of dust on them, as if someone cleaned with a push mop and pushed all of the dirt onto the baseboards and corners.I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like.The food was mid my mother got orange chicken the chicken was hard and the fried rice tasted like rice with just soy sauce.The wontons in chili oil were good, however.I ordered pork in garlic chili sauce to go this dish was actually just pork skin with lots of mushrooms in garlic sauce (I was expecting some muscle rather than just skin).Not sure if I just went on a bad day or if the 5 star reviews are old, but the prices were surprisingly high for what was available. I think it 's on par with just regular Chinese takeout."

"Great atmosphere! Tasty dishes! Service wasn’t bad. I received my spinach side several minutes after all my groups’ meals were served- a bit inconvenient. However, all waiters and waitresses were attentive and noticeably moving at a fast-pace. A drawback of this establishment is only one stall is available, at least this is the case for the men’s restroom. The ladies’s room was locked, and I really needed to go! Anyway, I do suggest you stop by if you’re craving Mexican Cuisine! See menu attached."

"WOW!!! I have to be honest, I must have passed this place 100's of times and didn't even know it was there. I had breakfast and it was great. Eggs, grits, bacon, biscuit and short stack of pancakes. Eggs were eggs, bacon was bacon, grits were from heaven, the biscuit was huge, flakey buttery goodness The syrup was real maple syrup and the pancakes were awesome. They also have chef inspired specials that sounded great. I personally stick to basics on my first trip to a place. If the basics are good I take the next step. Well, I'll be taking the next step and you won't be sorry if you do too."
