3 of us for lunch and all of us were pleased with what we ordered. The quality and pricing were good. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive. I will definitely be back.

The staff here are incredibly friendly. I feel like every employee made it a point to check on us at some time during our visit! The crepes are outstanding, and the prices are quite reasonable as well.

I was attended to by someone aptly named Birdie, who has a wonderfully fun aunt vibe. When she suggests items from the menu, definitely take her advice. The food is outstanding and very affordable. I only wish I lived closer! Plus, the entire restaurant is impeccably clean. Voir le carte

Went for breakfast on a Saturday. Food was good typical breakfast fare. Bacon was thicker than most places and you can actually get big cups of OJ. Only reason 4 stars was due to the long wait in getting our food. In their defense it was rather busy, but it still took a good while.

This a small business in a small town can bring you locals! The food is very good and comes quickly. The owner is present to help waiters during their shift. The waiters give very good service and have good personality. Another plus is that they advertise other small companies that are local on their menus and coffee cups.

Midwest Breakfast Co has been on our list to try for some time now, and it did not disappoint! We ordered the country fried steak with eggs and the two eggs made to our liking, along with sausage links. They kindly swapped a pancake for toast when we requested it. Everything tasted delicious, and the hash browns were beautifully crispy! The restaurant is a bit smaller than I anticipated, but it didn't feel crowded at all. All the servers were wonderful! I have been here a few times and have always been happy and satisfied with service and food. Today was not that day, from the minute we sat down our waitress seemed annoyed. She took our drink order and then we sat there waiting patiently for an hour totake our food order. She passed us 3 to four times never saying a word to us or even acknowledging we were there. Once she tookour order and our food came, she set the food down and handed us the check to us before we even took a bite of food. Never haveI felt to be such a bother to go out to eat by someone. Not sure I will be back.

I really enjoyed the fresh food at this restaurant! I’ve visited a few times now. My first experience years ago wasn't great, but after giving it another shot, I was pleasantly surprised by how good and fresh the food was. I even went a third time with my parents, and once again, the food was excellent and fresh. They also handled our special requests without any issues. I particularly love the country skillet, but I ask for it without green peppers and with added mushrooms. They use fresh green onions, and I enjoy it with scrambled eggs and white toast. I highly recommend trying it—everyone in my party has been very happy with our meals at the Midwest Breakfast Company. Thank you!

I wanted to try a breakfast place that wasn't one of my regular places in McHenry. I wasn't disappointed here. I ordered the land fried steak with two eggs, sunny side up. The 8 oz Steak huge and tasty. The eggs were perfectly cooked. They had a nice selection of jams and jewelry on the table. The toast came pre-infused, but could still have used some butter. There was a small charge for my request of onions in the Hasch-Braunkartoffeln, which was not mentioned by the server when I ordered. Your coffee cups could be bigger, but my cup was never more than a minute or two empty than my server or owner or manager came with a refill.
