"My siblings I have this thing where whenever it's just us getting together, we try to get dessert (mostly they do it for me because I'm the one with the sweet tooth they do it to make me happy). After having all you can eat sushi, we were trying to figure out what dessert places were open late on a Thursday night. The options were limited the only thing I was craving was something crepe like or waffles. Luckily, this place was open. So my siblings I headed out to this place. At first, I was worried because this was the only store in the plaza. That the lights were dimmed pretty low in the store, but it adds to the ambiance of the place. Inside we found a few people either studying, enjoying their late night dessert, eventually, some officers in the area enjoying the coffee. These waffles are so fluffy you can select from their pre-made options or make one up of your own. Aside from this, they also have pazookies other seasonal desserts. So stop by here, the staff is super nice as well will offer you suggestions."

"Beyond words delicious. My daughter had pancakes that melted in our mouth, my best friend had mohara frita with garlic butter that was absolutely amazing, and I had the taco salad that was so good and so fresh. All the ingredients for fresh and not mushy, they seasoned everything to perfection. We ate so much and the food was not heavy. The customer service and the workers there were very sweet and amazing! During our trip we came back twice. And we will be back anytime we come to Southern California!!!!"

"Our first visit to the restaurant last night came highly recommended, thanks to a friend's glowing review of their vegan menu. We were pretty excited and ordered two vegan meatball subs. The trouble began when we waited for nearly 25 minutes after placing our order. Our server, a guy named Ryan (I think), came over and told us they were all out of vegan meatballs. Naturally, we asked why it took so long for them to figure this out, which seemed to fluster poor Ryan a bit. However, he was polite throughout the conversation. We decided to switch our order to one regular meatball sub and a vegan eggplant sub, thinking all was well. But, surprise, surprise, Ryan returned a few minutes later to tell us they were also out of eggplant. At this point, we had been waiting for almost 40 minutes with no food in sight, so we asked for the check to pay for the soda my husband had been nursing. Here's why the whole experience left a sour taste in our mouths: 1. Why in the world didn't the waitstaff know about these shortages in advance? It seems like basic communication within the restaurant was seriously lacking. Customers shouldn't be left hanging, wondering if they'll actually get what they ordered. 2. It's kind of baffling that Ryan was left to break the bad news not just once, but twice. You'd think the manager, who we saw chatting with other diners just a few feet away, would have taken the initiative to come over and speak to us directly. 3. I was made to feel like I should be really grateful they decided not to charge us for the Diet Coke my husband drank. Overall it was a terrible experience and no effort was made to rectify what happened. I obviously cannot comment on the food since we never recieved any. As for customer service...HORRIBLE!"

"My husband and I have been loyal customers of Jay, the owner and chef, since his days at a small hole-in-the-wall on Cerritos and Valley View. Now, he's opened a new place in Los Alamitos, and it is absolutely delicious! The fish is among the freshest I've ever tasted, the sauces are flawless, and the vegetables are always fresh, crisp, and flavorful. Jay is incredibly nice and welcoming. This dining experience is truly worth every penny!"
