Caribbean? I don't think so. We got the jerk chicken and it was not spicy. It was covered in sweet store bought BBQ sauce. The collard greens were overcooked and way too salty. This is the best Jamaican restaurant I've ever been to in the states. The food is delicious and tastes like my grandmothers food. I ordered the “round about” which gives you a sample of all the proteins for $50. The pumkin rice and rice and peas were cooked perfectly. Food and service at this place was wonderful! Specifically I would mention the mussels because the broth was simply to die for. All the jerk food was great! The oxtail was the least spicy dish if you’re sensitive to it and want to avoid spice. Akil our server was fantastic! The only frustrating thing is that they provide you with plastic utensils and plastic cups for your drinks which is annoying because of environmental implications.
