It isn't a trip to Miami without a stop at the Tropical Beach Cafe. Their food is authentic Cuban and portions are generous.

No service. Went here twice during open hours and no one to be found to serve us. It 's a shame, we really wanted to try it here!

This spot was a hidden gem for a family breakfast at a decent price. Best Cafe Latte ever had. Forget Starbucks! They had small bites, guava empanadas, croquettes, eggs (fried/scrambled), pancakes, sausages. The service was friendly and popular amongst locals. Also visited for dinner. Voir le carte

This restaurant was pretty close to our hotel, so four of us ended up walking over to eat dinner. Our waiter was super chill and funny, even complimented my nails! He spoke to us about the city because two of us had never been there and he conversed with the other two about their knowledge of the city because they live there. The food was very good, the rice and beans and plantains were the stars of our dinner that night! I also really enjoyed the blackberry juice and mango smoothie; definitely a must try!

My wife and I weren't very hungry, so we started with clam chowder, a cocktail, and some wine, thinking that would be enough for dinner. However, the view was so nice that we decided to stick around, and we ended up ordering a few more cocktails and a burger. I would HIGHLY recommend this place! Our server, Rafael from Florida, was friendly and welcoming. He didn’t interrupt us while we were eating, but he made excellent suggestions and kept our drinks full, always attentive to our needs. I easily give this place 4 stars. It's a fantastic spot if you're visiting Fisherman's Wharf!

On my second day at Miami Beach, I stopped by a small café near my hotel. I ordered the Seafood Paella from the menu, not having much expectation. After waiting nearly 30 minutes, my dish finally arrived, and I quickly understood why it took so long. The paella was expertly prepared, topped with an abundance of fresh seafood. Beneath it, a thin layer of rice had soaked up a flavorful seafood broth. It was absolutely delicious and one of the best seafood paellas I’ve ever had—far superior to some I’ve tried in Barcelona and Madrid, which seemed catered more for tourists (no offense). This place was great for afternoon lunch. I'd passed it many times while visit Miami Beach finally decided to grab some food on my last day. Great decision! Service was friendly, I ate outside since it was a nice day. I ordered lechón asado with congrí tostones. First, so much food! I was able to have leftovers for dinner. Everything was delicious. The lechón was seasoned so well the tostones the right amount of crispy. I also got a cafe con leche to go. Delicious. Shout out to the wrapping on top, I didn't spill that drink on route to the airport! And the price was great, everything for less than $15.

We decided to try this place because the menu and prices seemed reasonable. We ordered the food to go but when presented with the bill before the food was prepared, it was much higher than expected. One menu item was higher than stated on the menu and the waitress tried to convince us it was all done by the computer: no apology and offer to correct the bill. We then noticed a 15% gratuity applied to a carryout order and additional take-out container fees. This all might have been understandable if they had been disclosed at the time of ordering. We do not support such sneaky and unethical business practices.

This little hole-in-the-wall restaurant will definitely surprise you! I walked in with no expectations, and I couldn't be happier with what I got for my money. Yes, they do charge a service fee and a container fee for takeout, but for just $20, you really can’t beat it! We had it for lunch and even went back for dinner! The dish was packed with fresh fish, calamari, large shrimp, and scallops, all served over delicious and flavorful yellow rice. We've tried seafood paella in NYC/NJ, Barcelona, Costa Rica, and several Caribbean countries, but this one was by far the best! Needless to say, we will definitely be returning! Voir le carte
