"This was my first time visiting this restaurant. I ordered 2 seafood plates and a 10 piece buffalo chicken wings plate. The seafood plates consisted of shrimp, oysters and deviled crab. The shrimp was wayyy too salty and we wasn't able to eat it. The buffalo wings were NOT BUFFALO at all, they were just regular fried wings. I spent $42.15. I was totally disappointed. It was a waste of time and money."

Man! This food is sooo good! First time eating here! The fries soooo awesome! And the BBQ sammich is how a BBQ sammich should taste like!! Found my favorite spot to eat now

Our 1st time eating here The best food and nicest people around. Everything was good,(Southern Food) you can't go wrong here. We will be back soon willing to drive the 30 mins

When I go out, chicken is not something I normally order because I do that at home , but we got a deluxe seafood platter, it was outstanding my other half ordered one piece of chicken breast it was the best!! Voir le carte

Fried Chicken: DELICIOUS!! BBQ: Not so much... I went there for lunch today for the first time, the fried chicken IS homemade, seasoned perfectly, fresh delicious! I don't know what happened regarding the BBQ, it looked old, tasted nasty, didn't even look good to me. The potato salad was good, but when you pay for a combo plate, you want to be able to EAT it!

"Oh, my! We heard about this restaurant and made a stop on a Sunday to the small town of Saint Paul. So glad we made it! Service was exceptional and attentive. We had a Sunday dinner with dessert and a drink. One of our parties had the baked chicken and it was moist and tasty seasoned. The green beans were delicious and the side salad was fresh. The beautiful cabbage was DEEEELicious! Fish was slightly baked and very tasteful. Also tries shrimp...WOW! It's worth the trip! The deserts were as good as your grandma did! Fudge cakes to die for, homemade cheesecake and yellow cakes with vanillaicing. Woo-whee! Tarpackers is a winner!"

"We did not order from here in a LONG period due to past problems with the quality of food service. When we were burned at the other restaurants in the area (Saint Pauls, NC), we decided to give them a try again. We are pleasantly surprised. We ordered a Cheeseburger Fries Chicken Alfredo. The burger was cooked exactly as ordered. (My husband is picky, but liked the burger). I ordered the Alfredo, it came with salad bread. The salad... the salad was FRESH filled the container with the whole salad mixture. The chicken Alfredo had tasteful chicken over the top. The whole meal was good. Also the service at the window was good. Much better than the past. We will put Zachary's back on our list of good places to eat."

"Go to Hardees in St. Pauls, NC almost every morning. In the last two weeks I have had to take my order back twice. The first time bacon egg was so hard and burnt I couldn't eat it. The second time which was this morning I paid for bacon egg and got grits. Management is awful and they was a car parked at the door and people couldn't get out of drive thru and no one ask him to move. Had to back out of drive thru and go in. They have lost my business!"

"This morning I had ordered a big amount of food for my family of 5. We were on our way out of town and the service her was below standard. The morning manager on shift was incompetent. After waiting for close to 30 min, I asked where our food was. After a few minutes I was informed they had run out of biscuits. Instead of informing us and asking if we wanted to substitute, our food was just left under the warmer. I had asked to speak to the manager, which she sent an employee to talk to me and brushed me off. I recommend you put a manager there that believes in customer service. I would like to say that Renee did a great job handling the situation. I kept reassuring her the issue was not her fault. You could tell she was flustered with the situation. I will not be recommending this location to anyone or returning unless the customer service changes. I had to ask for a refund and take my kids elsewhere to get breakfast before our trip.V/RDisgruntled Customer"

"I called and ordered cheese grits, an omlet w/onion and cheese and the total was almost 14.00. The omelet was so small it had to be 1 egg that they fluffed to death. It was greasy with burnt pieces of union in it. The cook did make it over but I was so disappointed. I only have 30 mins for lunch so going someplace else wasn't an option . The place needs an upgrade. The dining room tables and chairs are worn out, and the place is just overall dirty. The young lady who assisted me was really nice, but she knew I was very dissatisfied with portion size and pricing. She kept apologizing. A 2 egg breakfast at waffle house is much cheaper with way more food. The employees all stood around bashing another employee in front of me and my coworker. This wasn't it. I definitely left feeling ripped off."
