"Came here with my boyfriend for a quick dinner on a weekday night. I got the hot tingly beef mince banmen and he got the tonkatsu ramen. I love the beef mince banmen a lot! It didn't look like it had enough sauce at first but once I mixed it through, it was actually perfect. I really like the chewiness of the noodle and the cucumber added freshness to the dish. The tonkatsu ramen also tasted great even though it tasted more like a Chinese noodle soup dish than a ramen. The chashu was very flavorful and tender and the egg was well cooked! Everything came out really fast and the servers were very nice. Will come back in the future and definitely recommend!"

The Tonkatsu Chashu Pork Ramen is the best on the UES! The handmade noodles make a difference.

The Tan Tan Ramen and cucumber salad are amazing! I've been ordering from them for years, and they consistently deliver exceptional quality!

The food isn't as good as it used to be since they moved locations, and now the prices have nearly doubled. Charging $9.75 for steamed edamame is quite disappointing. Voir le carte

I absolutely loved this place, The food is outstandingly good. We ordered the pan fried Chicken dumplings, tomato beef stew ramen and yu Xiang chicken banmen, and the sweet buns for dessert. Every dish was delicious and the service was fast and friendly. We will definitely visit again.Food: 5/5

I absolutely loved the food and the ambiance! I can't wait to return. The appetizers were just as fantastic as the ramen itself. The shaomai was delightful—definitely give it a try! The gyoza was great too! I didn't have the opportunity to take pictures, but the appetizers are definitely worth it! The ramen was also incredibly tasty! Food rating: 5/5. Voir le carte

dat flushing tastewas craving some noodles and came here for some lunch. we started off with the crispy vegetable balls (the mealballs were sold out) which were alright. a little dry and not too much flavor. not a big deal because the noodles were bomb. I went for tan tan men ramen. it was LARGE. noodles were fresh and perfect texture. lots of toppings. and flavorful broth. reminds me of flushing food court noodles. def a fantastic option for those who live in the UES.

Came here for Sunday lunch and there was no wait for seats. We shared the fried vegetable balls (fried meatballs were sold out) and individually ordered the Beijing style dalumen, the tan tan men ramen, and the marbled pork rib ramen (all with homestyle noodles). The noodles in the dalumen and pork rib ramen were exactly what you want- bouncy and chewy. The ramen broth was flavorful and the egg was beautifully soft-boiled. The servers were kind to let us sit and chat for a while. They had a sign on their door saying they will move to a new location on 4/24/23 so looking forward to visiting them again at their new spot!

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
