Good Italian restaurant with great wine selection (my Montepulciano was lovely) and fantastic service. My ossobuco ravioli were a good choice, though next time I’ll probably go with other options.

I reserved 2:30 pm, seated at 3:10 pm, little annoyed but everyone was friendly and kept apologizing, so i felt ok most importantly i was melted by the food. Food is PHENOMENAL!!!! Simple, rustic pastas and sides done extremely WELL! Fresh, homemade and bathed in the right sauces to make you want to dunk your face into them. The only Italian restaurant I liked in the city! We asked for some recommendations and our sever was very helpful. We got arancine for appetizers which was soso. We ended up choosing green tagliatelle and cacio e pepe for mains, and I loved the green tagliatelle. Both pastas we very hearty and filling so to be honest no appetizers were needed. It was a lovely experience! The food was delectable, which, of course, is the most important thing for any restaurant. But the atmosphere was cozy and had an upscale feel to it. It was also great to hear Italian being spoken by the staff. Friendly, attentive, and professional service. I particularly admired that my server held my main course while I ate my appetizer. As a part of the Piccola Cucina group, the quality of the food was just as the downtown restaurant, meaning it is some of the best Italian food in Manhattan. The price is very reasonable, around $50 a person, for some very high quality ingredients.
