when I visited a friend, I stopped here and met happy hour. the two of us share steak tips, garnel and poutin. we had a beer too. the total bill came out to be under $30, which is just incredible. eating was phenomenal for a small city restaurant!

Excellent place to go to. I loved it, very decadent and high class, great service, extraordinary meals. It was a bit crowded which I didn't care for all that much but otherwise fantastic best steak I think I have ever had, I ordered the filet mignon, it's a bit expensive but worth it if you can afford it. We were so glad we stopped by to get a bite. The atmosphere here is amazing, dark wood, warm lighting and cozy decor everywhere. Perfect set up, there is a bar area on the bottom and a dining area up top. The food was unbelievably good so they obviously have great cooks and our server was the cherry on top. The waitress informed us that the 14 oz New York steak was one of the specials for the evening. When I jokingly asked her how much it was, she ignored me twice, which I found off-putting. Upon receiving the bill, I was shocked to see that the steak was priced at $33.00, and it was not even accompanied by a salad - which was an additional charge. We had to request bread and were charged extra for it as well. Overall, I would strongly advise against dining at this establishment, as I do not plan on returning.

We showed up with a party of 6 and was told it would be 20 minutes and we could wait down stairs in the bar. We had 5 adults and a minor. We went down stairs and ordered a drink and the minor had a root beer. After we ordered and were sitting and patiently waiting, a waitress told us that my nephew couldn't be in the bar even though he was having root beer. She said he could wait on the stairs. About 5 minutes later the owner told him he couldn't be there. Didn't talk to his parent but to my nephew directly. It's was a very low class move. We've been going to the ranch since 1996. We won't be back.

This place has been going since 40s, Joel Elvrum (owner) is keeping the tradition going and has in my opinion even stepped it up a notch!! He now has a nice selection of wines to enhance your dining experience along with a nice selection of tap beers and infused vodkas in their entry level . You can dine on two different levels and room enough to bring large parties to join you He and his most friendly staff will accommodate you however you please. Goose Hunters, Fishmen, and friends and family will enjoy this renowned establishment. Keep up the Great Tradition. My kudos to all .
