Great place to eat if you are visiting Medinaceli or travelling on the A2 highway. On hot days I recommend the inner dining room. Much more fresh, insects free! On Sunday at peak time (14:30) service can be a bit slow, but it is definitely worth the wait! Amazing food (sopa castellana and chuletón). Recommended! We went to eat, the place is cozy and clean, the food is good, we ordered a very rich salmorejo, some lamb chops that I recommend, the crumbs were a bit dry, but good in flavor, I don't know if the Castilian crumbs (like put on the menu) are different from the ones we are used to, which are more juicy. But very good, attentive, friendly and helpful waiter. Located in front of the arch, easy parking. We advise it.

We have stopped on the way to Madrid. We like the town and eating near the Roman arch is a very good attraction. The food very good. Migas con huevo with torreznos from Soria, it was in good quantity and very good. Second ear, cheeks and Sea Bass, all delicious and a good detail, not frozen chips.... for dessert a cup of white chocolate and mango and puff pastry with cream...very good... Things to improve: the air conditioning was a bit tight. The cream of the puff pastry a little scarce. Detail: we have included the drinks on the €20 menu that were not. I have been visiting the town of Medinaceli today with my wife and we have eaten in this restaurant that has made a great impression on us. In the first place, a menu of the day that I did not find expensive for how exquisite the food was, completely homemade. Secondly, the waiter who has served us has been a delight, Roberto has told us his name and that he combines his studies with the family restaurant business. A very attentive and charming boy who, despite being still in high school, knows how to treat a client. At all times he has worried that we were comfortable.
