They always have the best taco Tuesday deals. Lobby and toppings area were constantly being maintained while we were there. They even have a lobster taco now, which is pretty great. One of our tacos was wrong but they fixed it right away.

This restaurant really needs to replace its tables—they're incredibly sticky from worn-out varnish or lack of proper maintenance. The owner should consider investing some money in the establishment; after all, if you're charging $50 for two people, you can afford it. The food is good, and the staff is doing their best, but the wait times are quite long.

This location is NASTY!!!! Food was cold cold cold. Employees stand around chatting and joking around while Salsa bar is half empty and disgusting. Garbage?s overflowing to the point where there was nowhere to put trash. Not once did I see and employee wipe down table after customers left. Trash all over the place. This restaurant has gone downhill! It was very dirty and the staff were unhelpful. There were no condiments, forks or napkins available. When I asked for some, a staff member rudely said it wasn't his job. Later, when I tried to order more tacos, they claimed to be out of fish, which was not true as they served others who came after me. Overall, a disappointing experience.

Food was good the girls that were working have no customer service skills or personalities. Got there at 8:15 was not welcome so much except for the gentleman who took our order, he was very nice. As we were sitting eating they were doing their pre-closing stuff which is fine but at 8:30 one of the girls took all the caps off the soda machine so we couldn?t get a refill. Locked the front doors. When my husband asked for a refill she said they?re closed. Whoever owns the store should really look into their employees because they suck! Hence the 3 stars and that?s being nice!!

We went to lunch yesterday 7/17 and we both got the fish taco plates with beans. I got rice with it. The beans were the consistency of soup. I took one bite and it was somehow gritty too. The rice had no flavor. I had to add salsa to make it taste like something. The fish tacos were good at least. The table we sat at was super sticky. We checked the other empty tables and they were sticky too. I got Rubio's from Doordash last month and the rice was so underdone it was crunchy. Against my better judgement I gave this place another chance. I am from San Diego and this is not the Rubio's I grew up with. The prices have gone up and the quality went down.
