While construction was going on in the area, we decided to give this place a shot, and I wish we had done it sooner—now it’s our Friday tradition to have breakfast at Shaps. The #2 combo with pancakes is an unbeatable deal. For just $7, you get two pancakes, two eggs, and meat—it's truly a bargain. I absolutely love this spot! The owner mentioned they've been at this location for 25 years, so they definitely deserve some recognition. The only downside is that they aren't open on weekends."

Prices are perfect in my opinion. Quiet small space, can sit in or takeout. The place is clean and has breakfast, lunch at 11a. Lots of snacks, candy, and cold drinks. Cash only.

I'm not from the area but working overnight near by. I wanted some breakfast and was walking distance away. The place is owned and operated by a very nice couple who cooked me up a few egg sandwiches. They have a lot of snacks and drinks and there were a few high school kids who came in for snacks to take to school. There is a small eating bar and I think one small table. It was nicely priced and the food was good. I would recommend for a quick bite in the neighborhood.
