"Excellent fish and chips and open face beef with perfectly toasted thicker bread, mashed potatoes with a bit of skin left on and excellent, not over cooked green beans (still with some remaining texture and bright green color). I wasn’t expecting pepper on the beans so if not your preference could maybe ask the chef to hold back. Pleasant staff. We ate inside but also large patio for outside dining."

Six Pence Pub is an excellent pub and restaurant. Our waitress Lawson was excellent and couldn’t do more. Had my Smithwick’s and Bangers and Mashed and it was wonderful. Enjoy! Save room for dessert

Good food and beer selection, great service. We had a bit of a wait for food since it was busy (understandable mid day on a weekend in busy season) but our server was great and the find excellent. Nice atmosphere.

Perfect lunch spot nice large patio. Staff is attentive and food is delicious. Definitely the kind of place to have a leisurely meal. If you’re in the mood for a hearty lunch go with the Shepherd Pie. It’s really good. Their BLT is pretty perfect as well.

They were closed for the day but the host went out of her way to ask if we can be attended. The service was spectacular and the food was great. However the ladies bathroom was unfortunately very dirty. The men's bathroom was very clean. We informed an employee of the bathroom issue.

What a surprise to find bangers and mash in Blowing Rock North Carolina. Excellent! And, yes, they had Genius. But they also had Stumptown Stout, a regional brew that I believe is superior! Great place. It's on Main St. Don't miss it. Oh, and don't trust a beer you can see through... Voir le carte

I will alway stop at an Irish Pub and restaurant, hard to find British faire. Stopped by with the family after some hiking and was impressed. Front door was open to bring in cool air, the smell from the kitchen was in the air and beer/wine glasses were heard. Very good food, staff were friendly as can be, and very tolerant of our kids who were beyond hungry.

Not terrible and not amazing either. The location is nice, parking is a nightmare, the service was very slow, and the food was average to be honest. The nachos were good, would order those again. The Reuben was not good, the corned beef was very tough and hard to bite through to the point that the whole chunk slide off as I bit down. The pickle was clearly out of a store bought jar.
