"My boyfriend and I dined there with our 10-month-old, and both times they went out of their way to accommodate us, ensuring our stroller wasn't in the way and finding us a suitable table. We even visited on Mother's Day morning when they were busy, yet we were seated right away. They even reserved our table for us! Earlier that morning, we had tried two other breakfast places that were packed, so instead of taking our daughter inside, my boyfriend ran in to check if they had a table. When he returned to get us, it took a moment to unload the baby, and someone else walked up to our reserved table. Rather than waiting for another table, the waitress he had spoken to came over and informed the new guests that the table was saved for us. She then helped them find a nearby table that was being cleaned. Not only that, but she also re-sanitized our table and provided us with fresh silverware, which I thought was above and beyond typical service. I was really impressed with their kindness and attentiveness during both visits. We will definitely be returning multiple times, as we live just five minutes away and are thrilled to have found such a gem so close to home. I'm happy to add Our Father's Table to our list of favorite breakfast spots that we feel comfortable visiting with our daughter, even during Covid! When I think of a diner, I usually envision a small, cramped space, but Our Father's Table is anything but that. It offers a spacious environment, amazing food, generous portions, excellent service, all at a great price!"

"I say it all the time; me giving 5 stars to any establish is like a solar eclipse, in that it doesn?t happen often. The ultimate rating encompasses so much more than just one or two key things. This place has a little of everything. The ambiance is A-1. A pianist laying as soon as you walk in, granted, I went here on Valentine?s Day . A cozy booth in front of a wall mounted fire place. The lights were dim and the environment was welcoming. There were people all around at other tables, yet privacy was somehow abundant. The bar was tastefully decorated to fit the occasion. The service was where it needed to be for an upper scale place. Yes, the food and drinks are pricy, $200+ for a dinner for two. Our waitress was engaging, while not being too invasive, a hard act to balance which most don?t pull off . The chef came over to talk to us about the meal we chose, a good touch . The food in places like this is prepared to be as decorative as it is meant to be tasty. All in all, this quaint, cozy little place in Thompson, CT gets the ever elusive top rating. It is well deserved! Definitely worth a visit. Just be ready to pay! Enjoy!"

"This place is the ABSOLUTE BEST place to eat in this entire county! I've been all around in this area, and the food is mediocre in this area at best. Breakfast seems to be huge in this area and the places are always packed regardless of the quality of food, but in our search haven't been satisfied with the quality or price of breakfast in SE Connecticut, until our trip to Marika's. The food was hot fresh and most importantly, super tasty and perfectly cooked. If you have any type of craving for breakfast this is the only place in the area worth going to I promise you, and if you follow my reviews you know I'm very honest, and as a cook can be pretty tough on the food at times because i expect a certain level of quality, so trust me when I say this place is my new go to for breakfast when I'm in the area, and who knows maybe I'll find myself in the area just for a hungry man special every now and then ."

"This McDonald’s needs to just take apple pies off the menu because no matter what time of day they never have apple pies. Like 1 out of every 10 times I come here they have apple pies. Then if it’s the morning or the evening they say they don’t have apple pies normally in the morning or the evening but no matter what time of day you come here they probably don’t have apple pies. Take them off the menu! A product shouldn’t be on the menu if you don’t ever have it and make all kinds of excuses as to why you don’t but the product is on the menu therefore you should have the product!"

"I ordered a vegan cheese pizza with mushrooms last night. They were very busy and I was a little worried about the wait but the very friendly young man said 20 minutes. It was ready when I came back but he hadn't heard me say vegan cheese (I'm sure that I was being too quiet for the amount that was going on at the time). He personally threw one in the oven quickly and I was out in less than ten minutes. It was delicious. I hope the owner does everything he can to keep the current staff. They are way faster and friendlier. I very much appreciate that they carry vegan cheese, not only because it's a rare option in this area but because Giant's has always been one of my favorite restaurants. Vegetarian options: They have vegan cheese!"
