"Un groupe d'entre nous coincé à Mickey Land pour une convention recherchait un endroit pour le brunch du dimanche. Les Oskars à Waldorf ressemblaient à ce que nous voulions et nous sommes partis. Bien que je ne sois pas fan des buffets, celui-ci avait l'air incroyable, avec plus de variété que d'habitude, y compris une barre de saumon fumé, une barre de jambon et du miel dégoulinant d'un rayon de miel! Il y avait beaucoup de familles avec enfants, donc c'était un peu bruyant mais cela n'a pas vraiment affecté ... tout ce que le groupe de 4 a essayé nous avons adoré. Seules deux choses qui étaient un peu étranges étaient que le coût du buffet ne comprenait que des mimosas, pas des **** Marys et pas d'œufs Benedict au buffet. Cependant, ce qui m'a le plus impressionné, c'est l'engagement à rendre le client heureux. Quand je suis arrivé au bar à saumon, il était vide même si deux membres du personnel à qui j'ai demandé m'ont dit qu'il serait réapprovisionné. Quand j'en ai parlé à notre serveur, il est revenu et a dit qu'ils sortaient, ce qui était décevant. Le directeur est venu s'excuser et a dit qu'ils avaient même envoyé Hikton à côté mais qu'ils étaient sortis jusqu'à lundi ... pas ce que je voulais entendre. 15 minutes plus tard, le directeur est apparu avec une assiette du meilleur saumon fumé que j'ai eu depuis longtemps ... C'EST le service."

"We had a burger, omelette, chicken club sandwich and some tater tots. All were very good except for the chicken club which consisted of a very thin piece of chicken. In some spots it was much thinner than a piece of bread, so it seemed more like avegetarian club sandwich. Most college students might find their prices a little high for their budget, so pay attention."

"We had a wonderful Pre Fixe New Years Eve dinner at Osteria Fasulo. This was our first visit and we will return in the future. Our server Massimo was very attentive and helpful in introducing us to the dishes. The Northern Italian dishes were new to us and delicious. The Fungi salad was a taste bud opening starter. We had two pasta dishes the ravioli filled with taleggio cheese was slightly sweetened with pomegranate butter, and the agnolotti was filled with a savory mix of vegetables and ricotta topped with a veggie glaze. Fabulous. Hopefully the traditional Cotechino (a soft sausage) and lentil dish will bring us luck this year. The medium rare rack of lamb with a pistachio sauce and the halibut with roasted fennel in a saffron broth were well prepared and very good. For us the olives in the saffron broth hid some of the flavor of the broth. But the halibut alone was still flavorful. We choose the Panna Cotta and Crespelle (crepes) for dessert. Both were light and delicious. We ended with an airy Merrengue with strawberry sauce. It was a delightful dinner and we headed home well satisfied."

"I had this place bookmarked. And I was passing through Davis so I thought I would stop by. They also have a couple locations in the bay area, way closer to me. First off, they don't have a large sign above their shop nor are they listed on the sign for the shopping plaza they're located on. So I questioned if I was at the right place. And I circled around the parking lot looking for it before I just parked and searched for it. Not even a sign with their name on the window or door. Seems like they could put some kind of sign. I walked in and it wasn't very busy. One couple sat inside and there was plenty of seating. There was a little kiosk for self ordering. So I went for that. I just went simple and got the mango green tea. It's a $4.50 drink, added 50 cents for boba/topping. When I paid, it was almost $7. They ended up adding tax and a tip. The tip was added without me knowing. Maybe I clicked through too quickly, but it wasn't obvious. Usually there's an entire screen devoted to tipping with different percentages. But I did not see one. Crazy. I ordered through a kiosk and while they did make my drink, I think it's a little shady to add a tip automatically. The drink was fine. Nothing too amazing but good. Boba was also cooked well too. Was just annoyed by the payment process. They are also known for their desserts like shaved ice so I'll have to try those, maybe at a different location, paying super close attention when I pay."

"I usually go for the "Over Rice" dish, which includes your choice of tofu or meat paired with vegetables for just $4.95; shrimp is available for a dollar more, plus tax. The food is consistently fresh. I typically grab a fountain drink from their self-service station, just like at fast food restaurants, and I still leave under $10. The restaurant caters to UC Davis students and others by staying open late—midnight from Sunday to Wednesday and until 3 AM from Thursday to Saturday. The owner and staff have always been friendly and helpful. Plus, they offer free Wi-Fi and several flat-screen TVs that usually show sporting events. Even on busy nights, I can often find parking right outside, as many students prefer to bike, walk, or take cabs. I actually met one of my best friends at Open Rice, as we affectionately call it. It has a social vibe, and I highly recommend it to anyone in the Yolo County area."
