The Village Tavern Trattoria

I'm going here a lot after work, for a smile and good drinks at good prices. Recently I tried her gluten-free pizza crust and it is really good; super thin and crispy! Say hello to Katie, Lexi, Joe Robert, who will feel very welcome!

Lori, the bartender, exuded professionalism, but that's not all - she was incredibly friendly, warm, and welcoming. The atmosphere of the restaurant is relaxed, open, and comfortable, with plenty of space. The pizza was excellent! I can't wait to return.

I had a great time at the Saturday night Jazz Marmelade at this restaurant. The atmosphere was lively and entertaining, the food was delicious, and the service was very friendly. The pizza was on par with a pizzeria. Overall, I really enjoyed my experiences at this restaurant.

I'll give this place 4 starts for the server, atmosphere, and menu choices. However, the fish sandwich we ordered came out burnt to a crisp the first time. Sent it back, came back slightly better the second time. Maybe they need to change that grease! My Chicken Romano and was good.

Stopped here by the recommendation of the West End Clinic staff, and got the Village Reuben. Best Reuben I've had in AGES. Everything about it was just right... From the crust on the marble rye to the tenderness of the corned beef. Plus, the fries were perfect: crispy, fresh, and just the right amount of salt. Friendly staff, as well. So this place is a little tired, but given those who were present this day, it didn't matter. There was a birthday party near us, made obvious because the owner (I'm assuming) personally delivered a birthday cake, and sang Happy Birthday in Italian. So, clearly a bar/restaurant with local ties. Parking is on the street (the side street isn't metered, however) and the food is good. And the best part, at least for now in the days of COVID-19, is that there's outside seating.

My husband and I have been looking for a quaint Italian restaurant for awhile now. We discovered Village Tavern and Trattoria by sheer luck. With a great atmosphere , whether you want to sit in a bar, or in a comfortable dining room with tasteful decor, or on an outside patio, set up with it's own bar and delightful entertainment all the time. They cater to your every want and need. The menu is wonderful and we can't begin to say how delicious and authentic the food is. The owner and staff really go out of their way to make sure that your evening is enjoyable. They take a tremendous amount of pride in their business . I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. A large group of us spent about 4 1/2 hours there. One of the highlights was being able to draw on the table "cloths," which was something I, an adult child, absolutely loved. The service was excellent, with a very helpful and friendly waitress. I ordered a 16" spinach and tomato pizza, which was delicious and only cost about $15, a great price. The pizza was so filling that my friend and I had leftovers to take home.
