"despite the extreme overcrowding due to the restaurant week in baltimore county, the food, service and pleasure was great until the par. the restaurant week menu was great! I was there for lunch and was happy to see that the portions were not affected because it was a special menu. many places do that. I love eating here and doing it regularly. "This is a fantastic carryout spot (takeout only) serving delicious suburban Chinese-American cuisine. The place is small and can get quite busy during peak hours, so be sure to allow extra time for pickup. They prefer cash over credit cards, but if you do use a card, offering to cover the 3% processing fee will be appreciated, along with a small tip. The pickup area only has two chairs—no tables available. Overall, the food is excellent!"

"The food was a great and it was a fun experience. A little expensive for what you get. What really made it worth it was our waiter Nick. He was really patient with us, explained everything thoroughly. He made sure everyone was having a good time, cracked jokes, and was very accommodating with what was put in to the fondue and our dishes. That man definitely deserves a raise! Food: 5"

"TLDR: Tasty traditional Sichuan food in a casual BYOB atmosphere. Come for the crispy beef and noodle dishes. Vibe: 4/5. Located near the Towson York Road roundabout, Red Pepper is located on a small side street in a large storefront. Street parkingcan be a pain if coming at peak hours, however you could always park at Towson mall and take a 5 minute walk over. Inside, therestaurant is rather large. There are several 2 and 4 top tables which can be pushed together to accommodate larger parties. Therestaurant has a modern decor style to it with hints of Chinese theming. Service: 5/5. The wait staff was fantastic during mydinner experience. I came with a friend on Thanksgiving Eve Wednesday when Red Pepper was at full capacity with a wait. Luckily,because it was only 2 of us, the hostess was able to create a small 2 top tables out of their designated takeout prep area andwe were seated immediately. Our waiter was very punctual with drinks and taking our food order, even while juggling severalother tables. Food came out in record time and with good pacing. Food: 4/5. Red Pepper offers diners a more traditional Sichuandining experience with lots of dishes using unique ingredients and emphasizing the Sichuan numbing heat sensation. Such uniqueitems on the menu include bullfrog, various organ meat dishes and full head on fish entrees. During our visit we decided to staya little more conservative and ordered the clear glass noodle in chili sauce, the crispy beef, spicy spare ribs and marinatedcucumber. Everything tasted authentic, with spicy dishes really utilizing the Sichuan peppercorns to give your mouth thattantalizing numbing heat. Prices are a bit on the steep side, especially when ordering the more protein-laden dishes. One thingI wished Red Pepper would include is white rice for the table, which has to be ordered and costs extra. Overall, definitelyworth a stop for one of the more interesting dining options available in the Baltimore County area!"
