This is likely the best food we've found in the area. It's both affordable and exceptionally delicious.

I visited for the first time and found the food to be quite good, and the service was fairly attentive. However, the lighting inside was much too dim for my taste.

This cozy restaurant in Ft. Edward has been a beloved local spot for many years. It's definitely worth a stop when you're passing through the area. The menu offers a wide variety of options, and you can't go wrong with several of the house favorites at Anvil. Plus, the staff is always fantastic!

We dined at the Anvil Inn this evening and enjoyed the seafood plate, which was absolutely delicious! The clam chowder was among the best I’ve ever tasted! I also got some bread pudding to take home, which I already knew was fantastic. We will definitely be back! Additionally, I want to mention that our waitress was very attentive and took excellent care of us.

We started with crackers and house cheese, followed by our salads and rolls, which arrived promptly. Our main meals came shortly afterward! Rachel was very friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. The food was not only served quickly but also in generous portions for the price. It was absolutely amazing! We all left feeling very satisfied and happy with our experience at the restaurant!

The service is outstanding, with a very friendly and attentive staff! The food is delicious, but I do wish that during my last three visits, the vegetable accompaniment was not always just string beans and carrots. They tend to be mushy and lack seasoning, and I noticed they are often included in pasta dishes instead of being served as a separate side.
