The Boulder Tap House Baxter

I arrived with modest expectations, but was pleasantly surprised by the excellent food and service. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be returning!

I've never had a bad burger here. Always a lot of rotating taps. Try the Lettuce Wrap appetizer as a meal with chicken. You'll need a few extra napkins, but it's a good option. Solid sweet potato fries.

The fried pickles were amazing, and the jalapeño corn chowder was delightful. The Cuban sandwich on naan bread was a highlight, and the Philly cheesesteak was outstanding as well. Everything was exceptional, including the service. I can't wait for my next visit! Voir le carte

Food was good. I had the cheese curds cheeseburger and my wife had the chicken salad. Both recommended. They had all sorts of TV's on with sports on and Monday Night Football specials on beer. I would have given them a 5 star rating if they hadsomething other than light beer on tap for the game day special. I'm a craft beer man but even a Bud or Miller that isn't light(equate to tasteless) would be fine! The service was excellent however.

Wife and I out for a drive decided to stop for lunch. Parking lot was about half full several tradesmen trucks as a retired carpenter I trust tradesmen know good food. We tend to order the same entree's whenever we stop for lunch. She a Philly CheeseSteak and I Fish Tacos. She was not impressed with her sandwich, she generally isn't. Her fries were delicious. I did a tastetest. My grilled fish tacos were the absolute best tasting, gently grilled, and dressed to perfection I have had in many a day.My tacos were accompanied with rice and black beans and a Jack Pine IPA. I've never had avocado fries, so had to give them a try, and oh my, they are absolutely, definitely a do over. I love deep fried pickles and these were the best I've ever had. Large pickle spears and the batter on these and the avocado fries was light andfried to crispy perfection, not thick and doughy. Hubs enjoyed the cheese burger, fries and strawberry malt (two malts reallywhen they bring the extra). Food was so good I almost forgot to drink my beer. Highlight had to be our server, Jamie. I'd liketo just hang out with her, but for sure would like to clone her and take to any restaurant I go to. She's the poster child foran incredible server.
