The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - Moncton

This is the best Keg, the steak was amazing, the calamari was crispy and tasty. The only issue I had was my drink, the amaretto sour was awful. I still gave it 5 stars because I've had it before and it was good.

Here for the first time . Won't be my last .I ordered the Keg Burger with fries and the Calamari for an appetizer. Food was excellent. Service was friendly. Not a big wait time for the food to arrive at the table . Prices are on the high end side but worth the visit for a special occasion or a meal with coworkers .Highly recommend this place on your next visit .

Had dinner tonight at The Keg and it was fantastic! My first time at a chain restaurant streak house and I was blown away. Our server Erika was phenomenal, very personable, fun, quick, and friendly. Both my partner and I grabbed a glass of wine, and a steak each (Fillet and New York) and they were cooked to perfection. The portion sizes were large, and everything about our meal was great! Nous étions en ville pour fêter les 18 ans de ma fille; groupe de 6. J'avais demandé une belle table avec vue, mais malheureusement, ils ne pouvaient pas accueillir car c'était le week-end du bal - compris. 2 dîners de pétoncles, 1 crevette frite, 1 sébaste farci, 1 crevette farcie et 1 saumon sur planche de cèdre. Wonderful experience, our waitress only spoke English but I noticed the majority were bilingual which I highly appreciate and she was also quite friendly, also well appreciated. The food was fantastic, definitely on the pricey side but well worth it on special occasions. I would recommend trying to go on a day where weather isn't too warm as the AC unit is not very good and it is quite warm inside (we asked, AC was set at maximum power) Our meals were identical, we both

It was late and every other place I tried had closed their main kitchen. I was looking for a quick calamari snack and ended up back here. I forgot that they deep fry other things to fill out the order, red peppers I think. I did appreciate that they put the sauce in the side. It was crispy, but I've had better. I don't know why I keep ending up back there as it's not a favourite of mine. I think it's the hours and the location is convenient, being attached to the hotel where I typically stay when I'm in Moncton, but that's it. For me, it's not horrible, but it's not wonderful either. Trendy place for a special occasion. Dim lights, fireplaces, and seating reminiscent of upscale places in NYC. Prices are on point with other high end restaurants that offer nice cuts of steak, seafood, etc. You get what you pay for. We started with fresh ciabatta bread and fried calamari. I prefer more breaded calamari but the ginger sauce was tasty. Also served with feta sauce- which I've never seen served with calamari ever. Fiancé and I both had the 2lb whole lobster with choice of a side and a side of veg (beans and roasted red peppers). Lobster was cleaned and pre cracked which was helpful. Served with some melted butter. Service was fast and friendly!

Staying a night in Moncton and asked the hotel staff for recommendations for dinner. They recommended The Keg. We looked at the menu and it did seem a little pricey but the food was great! I had the oven roasted chicken with garlic mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts with bacon. I didn't care too much for the skin on the chicken (it was mushy) but the chicken was moist and very tasty. My husband had the top sirloin and twice baked potato. The steak was just a steak but the twice baked potato was so good that I ate most of it for him! YUM!! In the city , great location . First time here . There's a bit of hype about this place apparently .. Got a gift card from work , thought we'd check er out .. Parked out back , Marriott and The Keg are in same building. Dark spot walking in! Ambiance! Greeted nicely, asked to sit and wait for a brief moment. Sat in a booth , cozy and private. Good/classy atmosphere and great service. Started with a Heineken on tap , was flat ahhh but got a Belgian Moon and did the trick.
