"We really wanted to enjoy our visit, but unfortunately, it turned out to be quite disappointing. We stopped by for lunch, and it was a complete letdown. The menu was limited, and I ordered a grilled cheese with chips, but they managed to get my order wrong twice. My husband had a better experience with his soup and salad, as his order was correct. However, neither of us found the food particularly impressive—it was rather bland and basic. To make matters worse, the service was quite slow, and a can of seltzer (just a plain can placed on the table) cost $3.50! Honestly, it’s a great concept, but the quality of the food and service just doesn't justify the visit."

Ordered two pizzas. Cost almost 40 dollars and it had a few toppings. And I mean a few. Like one sliver of bacon on one piece

I've been there several times, and the food is consistently fresh and delicious. The pizza is fantastic, and everything on the menu is equally good.

Nine of us ate last outside in their “ courtyard” area. The Chef prepared I believe it was a 5 or could have been six course meal and we enjoyed every bit of it start to finish. A gem! Voir le carte

We stopped in to try their wood fired pizza and we were not disappointed at all. The staff was welcoming and we will definitely revisit this place. They also have a good selection of beers to chose from.

Amazing food, pleasant and polite servers. We had the Hen's pizza and the barley salad. FANTASTIC They make their own iced tea. Bought the blackberry oat turnover buttery crust and real fruit filling. We are going back.

I was in Skowhegan for work a few days ago and needed lunch during the COVID pandemic. The restaurant had a nice outdoor seating area, fast and friendly service, and the food was delicious. A few coworkers and I shared a Caesar salad and a large pepperoni mushroom pizza, both of which were tasty. I will definitely visit this place again! Voir le carte

I would give this restaurant five stars if the app allowed it. We stumbled upon this place randomly during a road trip. The staff was very accommodating to our dietary restrictions and checked multiple times to ensure everything we ordered was vegan. All of the food is sourced locally, and it was honestly one of the best meals I've ever had. The desserts and appetizers were outstanding. I recommend trying the first dish without cheese.

I perused the menu before I went and decided in the Farmhouse Caesar with chicken. First of all, the salad was spinach, served in a very small serving and hardly no chicken. The utensils were made out of hard wooden material fork and knife (like ones we used to have with ice cream when a kid. . I know they are using them probably because of pandemic but I was very very disappointed in the entire visit. I do not plan to go back. I love wood-fired pizza however, those at next table did not look happy with theirs.

"Let’s start with the beverages. There weren’t many options unless you wanted wine or another alcoholic drink from their full bar. I was hoping to find a zero-sugar soda, but they only had Diet Coke. No big deal. We decided to begin with a sampler appetizer. When it arrived, we all shared a laugh at the meager amount of food: two halves of stuffed, fried jalapeños, two frozen mozzarella sticks, and the tiniest fried crab cake I’ve ever seen. I managed to take a bite of the jalapeño, which was underwhelming, and before I could try anything else, the sampler was gone in seconds since we were all so hungry. At that point, there was only one other table occupied, and we experienced a slow wait for our main courses. I thought, perhaps they were preparing the dishes carefully and plating them for Instagram. However, when the food arrived, it looked just like any other fare you might find in town, and the main courses were disappointing. My plate featured an overcooked steak, swimming in blood and fat, which didn't allow the meat to rest properly. Additionally, the accompanying fries were soggy from the juices, so I wouldn’t recommend getting a steak with them. I found burnt rice in my pilaf, and my chicken was dry. Another member of our party had to pick gristle out of their absurdly small portion of chicken. And mind you, these dishes all cost $27 and up, with mine being the least expensive. The poorly prepared steak was priced at $36! For strip steak! The food itself wasn't terrible, but given the prices, we expected much more. We were all shocked by how much we were paying for what we thought would be fine dining. The restaurant's name felt fitting, as the interior decor appeared to be straight out of my late grandmother's home. The place felt like a museum, with walls in desperate need of repair and outdated, tacky wallpaper. The bathroom situation was odd too—there was only one cramped bathroom with a sign indicating “ladies.” After all of this, we made the poor choice of ordering dessert with the simple request to have the brownie heated before serving, yet we received a cold half-portioned brownie instead. Someone really needs to open another upscale restaurant in town, as it’s hard to believe this place is thriving while serving mediocre food at an average of $32 a plate. The only reason I’m giving it two stars is that our waitress was very kind and attentive—she was truly great. Everything else, however? Just mediocre. Edit: I’m adding this last part the morning after... I was incredibly sick throughout the night, which started about six hours after eating there. I’m certain I got food poisoning or salmonella."
