It was truly amazing, and the staff went above and beyond! The BBQ nachos were delicious, and the meatloaf was the best I’ve ever had. The ambiance is simple, but the experience is all about the company you keep.

This was our first time eating here. We had the pulled pork nachos, brisket dinners, pork sliders and sausage. Sides for dinner were sweet potato fries, macaroni and cheese, tater tots and apple sauce. We also purchased raspberry cheese cake to bring home. We enjoyed the 4 sauces that we tried. We were very pleased with the quality of everything we selected. The staff was great! Our drinks never went empty, the waitress was so nice with an energetic and outgoing personality. Can't wait to return for dinner again. Highly recommend

Everytime I go on a trip I always make a point of checking out the local BBQ joint, but I've yet to run across anyone who can beat what this place is doing with the brisket. Moist, tender, sliced thin, high in flavor. I recommend it be paired with the Pinckley's sauce, though it's so good you could forgo the sauce all together. The greens pulled pork are also done particularly well too. If you're in the mood for fries the sweet potato is always limp, but the curly is a great choice. On select days they also offer an outstanding chili.

I just had my first visit to The Pit, and I absolutely loved it! I was in the mood for BBQ for the holidays and wanted to try something unique instead of a chain restaurant. I ordered the Family Sampler to get a taste of their menu, and I was particularly impressed with the brisket and pulled pork. The sweet potato hash as a side was fantastic, and the kids all agreed that the mac and cheese was the best they've ever had. For dessert, we enjoyed the blueberry bread pudding, and the family couldn't stop raving about the mint cheesecake, which tasted just like mint ice cream. The service was outstanding as well.
