Had the breakfast burrito with bacon, filling, and greatly made. Took them awhile for us to receive our order other than that great experience.

They don't keep regular hours. Had a trip planned but when we got there they were closed. Website said they should have been open. Ended up going to the place across the street, which turned out to be amazing! Wouldn't recommend planning your afternoon around a meal here. We stopped here on the way to a wedding on Memorial Day 2023. We won $250 on a pull tab and were told that any winnings over $50, would have to pick it up later. Unfortunately, they were not open when we were going to be driving back through. We live in southern WI so it is not easy to get here. Over multiple FB messages, the owner promised to mail me the money. Yet nothing has come in the mail as of 8/29/2023. The owner now won't even respond to my messages. Stopped in on our way through Black River Falls. It is easy to get to from the highway, even with it being in downtown. The fish fry was fine... Nothing too exciting. It took at least 45 minutes to get food for four (the fish fries and a French dip). That was annoying. Then we were upcharged $4 for the Mac n' Cheese as a side on two of our fish fries; this wasn't indicated on the menu, so the say was also annoying. The staff was nice, but made it a hassle to get the $4 to refund us, so this joint swooped is for $4 and 45 extra minutes of our lives. Our server greeted us as we were choosing our seats. We got our order taken very quickly. And that’s where the good evening ends. Waited 45 minutes for a salad and a medium rare burger. The burger I literally squeezed the pouring grease out of it. It was extremely rare. The fries were boring with no seasoning. I asked 3 times for a side of ranch, to 2 different people, and still never received any. We sat with empty drinks for most of our 45 minute wait for our food. It wasn’t that busy, which would have been understandable. We were checked on twice 1 time was when we received our food. Less than 20 people in the joint and worst service.
