Va tutto bene. ma per prenotare come farlo? Via pec? due giorni interi per chiamare, in qualsiasi momento ma senza risposta.

Veramente come ai vecchi tempi, piatti rigorosamente tradizionali, ottimi. Unico neo, vino sfuso portato a tavola e dolci finali, non richiesti ma pagati. Peccato veniale al quale si soprassiede volentieri. Liquori della casa a chiudere, veramente buoni.

This place is a hidden gem located just outside the city centre. Most customers are locals who come for quality and decent price. In the menu you will find traditional pasta dishes for Primi and fish or meat dishes for Secondi . I would recommend squid in Sauce and Tagliatelle al ragu. House white wine is also amazing and it comes in a pitcher with cut apricots. Just five stars.

I came here on a very very very miserable wet afternoon (during the recent downpours in Palermo) and had a spectacularly filling lunch to myself. The staff were very friendly and the restaurant itself felt like it was for locals than tourists, which is often a good sign. I had half a bottle of red wine and two fish dishes and both were simple but incredibly delicious. The first dish was a pistachio linguine with (I think) sardines but it could have been a different fish (my brain is fuzzy). The second was again, more fish (don 't think it was Pesce Spada, could have been Cod) and I gobbled that up like I hadn 't eaten for days (almost licked the plate clean). Last night we had a wonderful dinner at Trattoria Altri Tempi, a true locals restaurant in the Politeama. The menu is written in Sicilian, not Italian! Lucky for us, they had brand new English language menus. As soon as you sit down, they bring out a pitcher of white wine and 2 bottles of mineral water it’s very rare for alcohol to be served without food here. To start we had panelle with fried cauliflower and cardoons as well as a cheese platter. For our mains, spaghetti with clams, roast lamb with potatoes, and a roasted pork shank.
