The noodles are fresh (the pho Tai was really good)! The prices feel a bit high for the portion sizes, but that’s to be expected in San Francisco.

The broth and noodles were quite good, but it was a bit strange that there was no hoisin sauce available at all, and they also didn’t provide any herbs or bean sprouts.

The beef and leek pho is absolutely perfect in every way. The family that operates this restaurant is truly wonderful, and I highly recommend Turtle Tower for excellent service and delicious food. Voir le carte

I tried Bún chả Hà Nội, and it had a really strong flavor that I enjoyed. I also want to thank the brothers for their friendly and patient service, even as it was getting close to closing time for the restaurant.

Without a doubt, this is the best Pho place in San Francisco. It's my favorite spot because you can choose between rice noodles or vermicelli noodles (I personally prefer the rice noodles) for your Pho. Just so you know, they serve Northern Vietnamese cuisine. Definitely worth a visit!

We arrived feeling rushed and quite chilly, but the host assured us it was "not a problem" to accommodate us. We were seated promptly, and our food arrived quickly after we placed our orders. The Pho Gai at this restaurant is absolutely fantastic. The chicken broth is wonderful, and you can tell it's made from their own chicken. The chicken itself is incredibly tender, even when immersed in the broth. The noodles are also remarkable. The broth truly steals the spotlight in any pho dish, reminiscent of the ones I’ve tasted in Hanoi. I haven’t tried their Pho Special or beef options yet, as I know they are particularly renowned for their chicken pho. Every time I visit San Francisco, this place is my first stop and will continue to be in the future.

Turtle Tower specializes in Northern-style pho, so don't expect the typical herbs, bean sprouts, or hoisin sauce that you might find in Southern-style pho. We arrived around 11:15 AM, placed our order, and were pleasantly surprised to receive our pho just two minutes later! The portions are generous, and the flavors are authentically representative of Northern Vietnamese cuisine. The pho ga is simply the best soup I’ve ever had! The broth is rich and velvety. It’s so basic, yet unbelievably delicious! I find myself craving it right now. Whenever I’m feeling under the weather, Turtle Tower is my go-to. When the weather is chilly, Turtle Tower is the answer. When I need some comfort food, it’s Turtle Tower again. I wish I could have Turtle Tower every day, and thankfully, it’s just a block away from me. The regular pho is good too, don’t get me wrong—I’m a pho enthusiast—but the chicken pho always wins out for me. It has a lovely Vietnamese flavor with a hint of French influence.
