"Finally grabbed food here after hearing hella folks rave about this place. My usual order at any pho spot is Pho Bo Dac Biet Combination beef pho which typically has rare beef, beef brisket, tripe, tendons, beef balls so that's what I ordered. Off bat, the broth was FIRE. Probably the best pho broth I've had in the city, it's got some extra umami just very different from any other pho I've had. The only two things that make it 4 stars (for me) instead of 5, were the flat noodles lack of beef balls. To be fair, beef balls weren't listed in the item description so it's not like they messed up, but it would have been nice to have them because they're sooo good! The flat noodles weren't terrible, I've been to other pho spots that also serve flat noodles by default, but have been overcooked. Thankfully they don't overcook them here to be honest, I didn't mind so much as the broth made up for it. BEEF BALLS THOUGH, beef balls would've really brought it home for me. Overall, AMAZING broth would def recommend to anyone who loves pho."

My favorite pho place in the Bay Area. The noodles and broth are incredibly fresh. I love chicken pho ga.

This is my favorite chicken pho place. Never had the beef pho, but it looks really good too. Very light and tasty broth. Thick noodles. Service is standard for this type of restaurant. All staff was pleasant enough. I try to come here whenever I visit the city. View menu

Came here with my friends. Everyone enjoyed their dishes a lot! I particularly liked the broth of my pho. I was also impressed with the amount of beef I received with my soup in addition how well it was cooked! Would highly recommend checking out this small AAPI owned restaurant :

Updated review. Have ordered here several more times recently and they keep skimping out on the chicken, lemon and jalapeño (as requested). I 'm more than willing to pay extra, but even when they charge me, there 's nothing extra . They have lost my business. There 's plenty of another fish in the sea in San Francisco.

The only place in SF that I can finish a whole bowl of pho. Highly recommend pho ga. Pho bo is quite good as well. They have trung chan (egg yolk with soup) which is simply a staple for pho. I also enjoy their bun cha (w a side order of imperial roll) a lot. And love the soy milk.Bun thang, xoi ga, chao ga and banh mi were ok but I appreciate that they were even on the menu in the first place. View menu

Mmm...Pho:Broth: 3/10 flavor. If you're used to eating pho in America, I guess this could be top 20%. If you're used to eating it in Asia, then sorry to say it was just mid. Not a lot of flavor or seasoning.Noodles: 8/10 consistency/texture. Alright generous amountMeat: 5/10 flavor. Ok... Not particularly tasty and the portion was kind of miserly (small)Grilled pork: 10/10 flavor. Great!Imperial roll: 9/10 flavor. This was great; tasty and not dried out. A little expensive at $5 for a small roll though...Parking: No parking

Came here for a casual late lunch with a friend. I got the recommended pho ga and my friend got the shrimp spring rolls. It was not too busy and service was a bit slow but nothing bad. I very much enjoyed the pho broth, which was a bit lighter, more peppery, and aromatic than the pho broths I've tried before, and the noodles were a bit thicker and chewier as well, I am assuming since it is from a more northern region and I've been told most pho places are more southern. I really enjoyed the Pho and it was a perfect mix of comforting and refreshing if that makes sense haha. Will definitely be coming back for a quick and easy lunch.

"Earlier this year Salty 's was featured in one of the top 100 places to eat in the Bay Area in 2022, and after trying it a couple times, it 's easy to see why. Quality and flavor, great customer service, it checks all those boxes. I occasionally visit the 24 hour fitness on Van Ness, and Salty 's happens to be just few short blocks away which makes it perfect when I 'm looking for a post-workout sandwich. And for those that know me, I love me my sandwiches. On my latest visit, I decided to go with the 'Glorious B sandwich, which come with turkey, bacon, avocado, pepper jack, veggies, and garlic mayo. The blend of flavors and high quality of the turkey is no wonder it 's at the very top of the menu list. It 's one of those sandwiches, that you can bring to park and not need a ton of napkins to get through. It was well put together, with the ratio of all the ingredients matching well. Nothing overpowering, just sandwich perfection. The size of the sandwich I thought was the perfect size for my appetite. As I 've gotten older I can 't put down as much food as I used to, and after one-half I knew I could 've stopped eating, be content, saved the rest for later. But of course I ate the whole thing and nothing sounds better than taking a quick power nap right after. I love that their menu has so many different sandwich combinations, so definitely take time to check their menu before calling-in/walking-in to order because it 'll definitely save you some time. On my latest visit, I was in and out in 10 minutes. Definitely towards the top of my list of sandwiches in this part of town!"
