Haven’t tried the bbq but the catfish is the best ever! . . . And the for spoon bread and the potato salad. Highly recommend!

Absolutely awesome BBQ!! Ribs are sweet and falling off the bone. Brisket is moist and tender. Sausage has an amazing smoke flavor! Unfortunately they were sold out of chicken. But we will definitely be back to try it. Voir le carte

The bbq brisket, sausage, pot salad and beans were EXCELLENT. They served it just like I asked and like.. .that was my first time there and I will definetely be a repeat customer. .the service was also excellent! I really liked the set up/atmosohere! ..great job 2 Sawers!

My friend and I had lunch there today, and we absolutely loved the food. The brisket, sausage, potato salad, and BBQ sauce were all incredibly delicious. The freshly brewed iced tea was incredibly refreshing as well. This is easily the best BBQ place I’ve ever been to, and the service was excellent too! I highly recommend giving it a try – you don’t know what you’re missing!

The Bbq is from this world, but wait, you must try the seafood! The fried oysters were plump on the inside and perfectly seasoned crispy on the outside. The Krugefisch etouffee had delicate sea salmon in a thick, perfectly seasoned sauce! Wels is great and oh my gosh am I desire seafood and it is only Wednesday. Now I don't have to go to Port Aransas for freshly cooked seafood. Thanks two Sawers! Voir le carte

Very good brisket, sausage was homemade and very tasty, cole slaw was nice and juicy, beans were flavorful, but I didn't really care for the onions..the sauce was laden with drippings from the meat ! very flavorful and yummy !! service was impeccable and they even gave me a tiny sample of cheesecake for dessert..definitely will be back to try the chicken and ribs, that were sold out..must have been just as good as the brisket and sausage..did I mention the sausage was friggin' awesome ? :

I also ordered the 'ugly pancake' but decided to save it for later since I was already quite full after my late lunch. I’ll definitely provide an update on that. The staff was incredibly friendly, patient, and accommodating, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The restaurant itself was clean and tidy, and I can’t wait to return to try their grilled offerings. I highly recommend this place for anyone traveling from Floresville—just be sure to arrive early, as they sell out quickly!

This place is fantastic! As soon as we were seated, a friendly waitress asked if it was our first visit. She then brought us a tasting plate with meat and sides, which was a great introduction to the menu. It was tough to choose our sides because everything sounded amazing. I ended up ordering the Brisket and Rib Combo, along with their delicious cream corn casserole and beans, plus an additional side of potato salad. The food was incredibly tasty! We also indulged in the "ugly pancake," which was surprisingly delicious! We can't wait to return and try the seafood soon. Voir le carte
