"After moving back to Kentucky from New York City, I was worried I wouldn’t find any good Chinese food. Then I discovered China Moon. I placed a pick-up order, and it was taken and prepared just as I requested. The wait time was exactly what they estimated! The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The food was outstanding, with everything being fresh. We ordered Bourbon Chicken (which seems to be a Kentucky favorite, and everyone loved it!), Sesame Chicken, Moo Shu Vegetables with pancakes, Chicken Egg Foo Yung, Pork Egg Rolls, Crab Rangoon, and Fried Dumplings. The entire meal was absolutely delicious, and our fortune cookies offered us some wonderful fortunes. Thank you, China Moon!"

"Decent Diner Food. I don't understand why some people are surprised to find a roadside diner in rural Kentucky filled with locals who smoke and a waitress who calls you "baby." I expected the vibe to be like this upon arriving. If that doesn’t sound appealing, you might want to reconsider visiting a place called Family’s in the heart of Kentucky. As for the food, it’s classic diner fare that’s prepared well. There are no frills, just generous portions of hearty dishes. I would definitely come back here to eat again."

"Aug 2022; I've been wanting to try their Tex-Mex Burger, a bit messy but very good. Burger with cheese, diced tomatoes, diced pineapple, shredded lettuce, ham, and fried egg. (Sliced vegetables would have been neater instead of diced). French fries came a bit underdone for my taste, and would have preferred the cheese on side instead of poured over, still very good. Have also posted new menus effective end of July. Very large menus, bit cumbersome to handle. Noticeable price increase on all items, inflation. June 2022; dined outside on the patio, which is enclosed so the little ones won't wander off, and nicely lit. Once again our meal was exceptional and we'll keep returning. The Boss Burrito is more than a meal and stuffed well with meat, the Acapulco plate was again awesome, added grilled pineapple for an additional change. April 2022; for Tuesday night they were fairly busy, and slow on service which is very unusual. Food still excellent, Acapulco dinner was awesome as well as the Shrimp Tacos. Excellent dinner meal, chicken, shrimp, and spinach was awesome. Definitely will be returning."

"This locations employees are always so kind to my family and I. They go out of their way to make sure we have what we need and to engage with our young daughter. They always ensure where we are sitting is clean and if they're out of stock of anything inthe lobby, they're never short to get us what we need and then promptly restock. Almost everywhere is short staffed now, butthat dosent stop this location from doing their best and having good attitudes!"
