"Wicked Wilderness Pub in Davis is an absolute must visit! I was immediately drawn in by the specials board featuring Crab Bombs and Peach Cobbler. The Crab Bombs were an unexpected delight – a perfect blend of crispy exterior and flavorful crab cake interior, wrapped up in a deep fried ball. Our first night, I couldn't resist the Boom Boom Shrimp Tacos. The sauce was a fantastic blend of flavors with a subtle smoky kick. The tacos were packed with shrimp and toppings, leaving me full, but not too full for cobbler. Home baked with fresh peaches, covered with rum sauce and a scoop of vanilla ice cream wickedly delicious! On our second visit, the chicken pot pie was comfort food perfection. The rich, buttery sauce, rainbow of veggies and generous chunks of chicken made it a standout dish. The staff was friendly and made our dining experience even more enjoyable. They even let us know about a concert at one of the local horse stables on Saturday night! Both of my Long Island Iced Teas were tasty and perfectly poured. The pub's atmosphere is cozy and inviting. It is the perfect spot to relax and enjoy delicious food after an adventurous day in the mountains. Highly recommend!"

Great place to eat. Great atmosphere. They had a live band going. We had the home made pot pie which was amazing and their crab cake appetizer. The biscuit that came with pot pie was more than sufficient, the only thing was the pot pie itself was not proportionate to the biscuit. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

If you're really hungry and do not need high brow cuisine, Wicked Wilderness should get the job done. Our table of 5 ordered appetizers of pepperoni rolls and trout dip. Kudos on the trout dip. The rolls were so so. Our entrees included burgers, spaghetti, fish and chips, and some other dishes. Nothing really stood out as crazy delicious, but it got the job done. Service: Dine in

We stopped to get a lunch/dinner and were seated quickly. I got the Fish and Chips, don’t bother. The plate was $12 and the fish was deep fried frozen fish planks like you buy at the grocery. They charged $2.50 for an extra plank. It was good but not worth what I paid. My wife had the French Onion soup and said it was very good. We shared a pretzel with was pretty good too. Service: Dine in

The food was ok. The trout dip was pretty good when we finally got it. We sat at the bar and ordered it as an appetizer about 10 minutes later a gentleman sat down at the bar and ordered the same dip and the waitress went in the kitchen and brought his right out to him while we still waited another 10 minutes. We then got our regular food only a few minutes after the appetizer arrived. The bartender/waitress was definitely more worried about socializing with her locals than paying attention to the other guests at the bar. Voir le carte

For a hole in the wall in a tiny town it was surprisingly good. The food was solid, we had pulled pork sandwich, the chicken pot pie, and a burger and they were all excellent oh and the trout dip was really good too. Decent beers on tap and the game was on, can't ask for more than that. Menu was actually a little too small, which is a rare problem these days but I felt it needed a couple more apps and a couple more entrees to pick from. Maybe that's just me. If you're in town for a couple days give this place a go, I would go back for sure.

I dont mind paying a little more money for quality, but this place is definitely not quality. It's basically a bad dive bar with mid prices. The chicken pot pie is just a biscuit on the side of what seemed like canned chicken and vegetable soup. The red skin mashed potatoes tasted VERY sour, like they had been made with expired milk. They have a cocktail menu with very overpriced dive bar cocktails. The server couldn't actually get us drinks because she was underage, so we had to go to the bar to order drinks and take them back to the table. Do not recommend it. Edited to add: 2 stars was a mercy. This could've been much harsher.
