"Now, fast forward a little over a year later, and we're looking to enjoy breakfast again. My husband suggested this place, and I was thrilled since it holds such a special memory for us. Upon arriving and getting seated, however, I was dismayed to find a very limited menu—and to my utter disappointment, the stuffed French toast was nowhere to be found. I opted for the buffet instead. Sadly, the experience was far from what I had hoped for. The eggs were old, with dried-out tops turning a dark yellow, and the bottoms were stuck to the chafing dish. The bacon was floppy and rubbery—while some might prefer it that way, most people enjoy crispy bacon. The home fries were a strange texture, hard and oddly chewy; I’m convinced they were simply reheated leftovers. The waffles that were available were either extremely hard or soggy from condensation, making them inedible. In the end, I chose to pay extra for a meal off the menu and ordered the ham and cheese omelet. It was fine, but unfortunately, it also came with the same disappointing home fries. I ordered a side of sausage links, which turned out to be so tough that they were nearly impossible to eat. The highlight of my meal was the toast. Needless to say, we won’t be returning. Part of me wishes we had never come back, as it has tarnished the fond memories we once had of this place."

The restaurant more than met expectations. The service was outstanding, as was the server. We were seated at a window table right by the marina . The wine list is extensive. They are also very accommodating for special requests. We ate dinner salads with broiled fish that were delicious. This is one of the better dining options in Alexandria Bay.

It was unfortunate that we decided to go there on the fourth of July. Food was terrible. We hardly ate the food we ordered. The hamburger was so plain and red currey was too salty and griesy.. Vegetables wee under cooked and it appears that the currey powder was mixed in oil without any coconut milk or other seasoning. Terrible.. a total waste of money.

Your bistro has an optimum location you choose to allow yachts to obscure the view, they should not be allowed in the front. But if your are more interested in the dollar than your diners then thats what we get. Seems like you may be caught in a time warp, felt like we were in a scene from the Shinning. My daughter ,son and myself had dinner on the 26th of August.I was very disappointed with my Haddock, the thyme was out of a jar and not fresh. I couldn't eat it as the taste was horrible. Did not get bread until after our appetizers and soup. I would not have minded if the restaurant was full but there was only 6 tables dining when we were there. It was my birthday and honestly I have ha better food. One is paying for the view not the food.

Terrible food. Slow service. The staff was friendly. Wonderful view.Greasy, Soggy chewy calamari and half of it was fried peppers. Tiny shriveled clams. The fish was dry and overcooked almost as of it was frozen fish. Looked like a frozen hamburger patty cooked on flat grill and frozen fries. The rib and garlic mashed potatoes were delicious. The monkey (whatever they call it) bread and marinara was very flavorful it had a hint of spice.I was hangry and this meal did nothing to soothe my appetite.
