"The daily special was beef bourguignon, which was tasteless, lacking flavor, and had very tough, dry meat served atop a large portion of fettuccine noodles. We ended up sending it back. The replacement meal was acceptable, but the experience was marred by the staff being preoccupied with setting up tables and cleaning the floors, which detracted from what could have been a pleasant atmosphere. The ambiance felt more like a cafeteria. Additionally, the empty wine bottles stacked along the wall seemed to pose a health and safety risk and attracted numerous flies in the restaurant. Overall, it was a disappointing experience."

I'm not really a fan of handheld credit card machines that prompt for a tip while the server is holding it out to you.

We were very satisfied with the restaurant—the food, the service, and the pricing were all excellent and quite reasonable.

We were so excited to try this restaurant. Saw on Google that they opened at 5pm for dinner. We arrived and we were told there was a convention in town so the restaurant was closed to the public. Definitely call before you go!!

Faded glory. Furnishings were old and well worn. Poorly staffed: one waitress who couldn't keep up. Tablecloth stained, and glasses covered with film. View of bay obstructed by dockage of large boats. Shrimp scampi with vegetables was colorful and fresh. Fettuccine alfredo was pedestrian, and grilled chicken dry. All in all an uninspiring experience, not to be repeated. View menu

It was unfortunate that we decided to go there on the fourth of July. Food was terrible. We hardly ate the food we ordered. The hamburger was so plain and red currey was too salty and griesy.. Vegetables wee under cooked and it appears that the currey powder was mixed in oil without any coconut milk or other seasoning. Terrible.. a total waste of money. Service: Dine in

Sub par hotel food, over priced and day old. They served the eggs with ketchup cause they were so dry they required it to swallow them. The $7 “parfait” was canned whipped cream with fruit, no yogurt or anything else. The potatoes were a day old stale and inedible, bacon was served burnt and also days old. Even my teenage boys wouldn’t eat it. The cinnamon swirl pancakes were orange flavored and didn’t contain a trace of cinnamon. The pancakes and French toast were apparently made fresh, everything else was overcooked, dry, or reheated.

"I hate to do this, but I have to let others who are swayed by the high reviews know the horrible service I (and others) received when trying to come here for breakfast... My partner and I stopped in looking for coffee and a hearty breakfast on a Saturday morning around 11am. We walked up to the cafe and saw it was so small we 'd have to sit at one of the janky tables outside... no problem, we were hungry! We got in line and looked around for the food menu, confused that all we could see was a coffee menu and this appeared to be a cramped coffee shop. We asked the older lady circling around and she handed us a crumpled sheet of paper with a short breakfast menu on it. We got to the corner and ordered two coffees, the veggie omelette, and the egg bacon home fries plate. Half hour wait for food! The same older lady yelled at us. Ughhh ok, well we 're here so I guess we 'll wait. We threw an apple fritter on our order at the last minute to have something to tide us over. As my partner was doctoring up his coffee, he heard the cook yell no more homefries! to the lady who seemed to be running the show. Are those my home fries? He inquired, and then proceeded to watch the owner lady go tell the cook to split up the last of the home fries for 3 more plates. Hmm... We went outside to wait. The table was dirty and swarmed by flies. Coffee was sub par and the lackluster donut tasted like it had been sitting in the case for several days dry, not enough icing, flavorless. The flies were getting to us and I decided we could not wait half an hour for this likely to be sub par breakfast. I went back inside to cancel our food order. The counter girl informed me that the cook still had 3 tickets in front of ours so we could cancel our order no problem. As I was paying, a young mom with a small child behind me tried to order a plain bagel with cream cheese. The same older lady owner yelled at her 30 minute wait for food! The customer was shocked... for a bagel? I don 't need it toasted, she replied. Well I can 't get back there to get a bagel (gesturing to the cook), so it 'll be a 30 minute wait, and we 're out of plain bagels, replied the owner. Shaking her head, this lady ordered a coffee and left. Terrible customer service, and I think we dodged a bullet by not eating here!"
