"I actually went a couple months back for the first time and had an overall great experience. I dined at the bar was attended by Eddie, he was very polite and attentive! The drink recommendations he had for me were spot on and I was impressed by both and taste and look of their cocktails. I had a few oysters which were good and absolutely loved their lobster roll. Highly recommend but maybe not in a hot day as it can get stuffy inside."

"Out of our five day restaurant experience in NYC this one was by far most memorable. The menu's words don't do the food justice as it's complex flavors and fragrances unfold in your palate. As a family of four we had two sandwiches, pancakes and one soup, as well one desert, coffee and hot chocolate. All items were exceptional in their delivery. The coffee was bold, full bodied but not burned like a French roast, the hot cocoa deserves a visit all on its own, the food was simply great in all aspects, flavor, the satiety it provided, and the feeling of quality. The staff was responsive, friendly, and fun."

"I've been to quite a few omakase spots and Sushi Lin by far is my very top omakase spot. $100 omakase (sushi bar only) is actually pretty decent and average price compare to the amount of food you're getting plus the freshness of the fish. Comes with multiple delicious appetizer (cooked raw) and each piece of sushi that they offered are so unique to taste. It left us smiling after each piece. Their sesame pudding is a must! I would highly recommend it and request to just do the $100 omakase at the bar and it'll be well worth it!"

"I was short. I needed a cake in a hurry. it was my daughter's birthday. I have a red velvet, cannoli donuts and chocolate covered strawberries. they have tons of other choices to choose. the lady who participated in my order was so nice. I want to try her tiramisu. my family and tried everything I had bought. I liked the fact that the red and wet was. I'm not crazy about red, but my daughter loves it. that was a hit with us. I like the fact that they have been in operation since 1945. that helped me out what bakery I wanted to choose for my cake. I'm going back."

"I discovered this place while looking for an authentic falafel. While the exterior of the shop make it look more like a corner bodega and the interior looks like that of a run down take out joint the food is amazing.My falafel was packed and fresh and hot. I found a little foil wrap of pickles to go with my sandwich and one little extra. There was four full sized napkins in the bag. I know that sounds trivial but no one wants those cheap napkins that protect nothing and absorb less.I think this is a gem of a spot and you can tell it’s a neighborhood favorite give the folks constantly coming in and going out."

I try to get just one or 2 items BUT I always end up leaving with 2 or 3 cookies, 2 or 3 muffins, 2 patties hot food if it is Wed- Sat.My favorite muffins are cinnamon, pistachio, orange blossom, cranberry, red velvet... Yet to try the corn but I have heard rave reviews.My favorite patties are Jerk, BBQ don't sleep on the vege patties guys. It took me a while to order it but it was really good.My favorite cookies are the sugar, white chocolate macadamia nut the chocolate chip (warmed).YOU GOTTA TRY:1. Patty with coco bread2. "This restaurant never disappoints and is one of my favorite places for pasta in NYC! It's an affordable and casual spot for pasta in Greenpoint. The one thing to keep in mind is that you need to act fast to get a table - it's always busy and the space is small for the number of people dining. It's self-service, so don't forget to grab your own utensils and clean up after yourself. Place your order at the counter and they will bring your food to you when it's ready. And make sure to ask for the focaccia bread if it's not included with your meal! I haven't tried all the pasta dishes yet, but so far my favorite is the pappardelle bolognese (priced at $13). However, all of their pasta dishes are delicious, with perfectly al dente noodles and flavorful sauces."

"Really great lowkey spot a few blocks away from a friend that we were visiting. We sat outside for a few beers, and our server was sweet very fast. To start we shared the really tasty Pear Goat Cheese salad. Pears were sweet and balanced so nicely with the slightly bitter arugula, goat cheese and tangy lemony dressing. Then we ordered two pizzas, the White Canvas the Funghi, which were tasty fresh out of the brick oven. I enjoyed both but think I'd try others in the future. The real star of the meal for me were the Ricotta meatballs so fluffy and most and well flavored. If I was in the area I'd come back just for them!"

"I have been meaning to visit this spot for months, maybe even a year. This spot provides you with good bar seating high chair/table seating near the bar. The space is tight. It’s got a cute backyard front seating space. The ambiance is lovely w/ all the records signage. I had one cider which was lovely, I enjoyed that the bartender asked what I was in the mood for helped me find something that I’d like. I do wish they had more in terms of food/snacks but they’re not a restaurant."
