"I had been eyeing Pomp and Circumstance 's glowing Yelp reviews for a while, and my partner and I finally decided it was time to see what all the buzz was about. The food exceeded our high expectations but the ambience left something to be desired. The ambiance is intimate and inviting, setting the stage for a culinary adventure that you won 't soon forget. While the space is small, it 's filled with big flavors and even bigger impressions. The Seeded Semolina Pita, fresh from their genuine brick oven, was a revelation. Paired with Tahini and Hummus Dips, a symphony of flavors had us reaching for more. But the culinary delights didn 't stop there; the Dry Aged Lamb Meatballs were a masterful and refreshing take on a classic dish.Adding to the overall experience was the impeccable service. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable, adding a personal touch that made the dinner even more satisfying. And let 's not forget the drinks--specifically, the Big A Cosmo. Served with a refreshingly fun silly straw, it was the perfect blend of sophistication and whimsy, much like Pomp and Circumstance itself. The only minor drawback was the acoustics. The intimate setting is generally a plus, but if you happen to be seated next to a loud party, having a conversation with your Partner can become a bit challenging. However, this small hiccup didn 't dampen the overall experience. In summary, Pomp and Circumstance is a must-visit if you 're in Williamsburg or in a 30-minute radius. It 's a place where culinary tradition meets modern innovation, all wrapped up in an atmosphere of warmth and excellence."

Exquisite dishes, the fresh made pitas and various dips are AMAZING! Every time we dine here we walk away full and elated. (Go for the semolina and labneh, can't go wrong!

Don't sleep on their happy hour which gets you a drink, dip, and pita for a price that feels almost illegal in this economy! The pita was so fresh and the spreads really hit the spot shout out to our waiter for the recs : will be back soon! Visualizza piatti

This is definitely my favorite place to eat in New York. Everything is consistently outstanding, and I always look forward to my next visit to try something new from the food and drink menu. It has one of the most underrated hospitality programs in the city.

After seeing an Instagram post, we decided to pay a visit and give it a try for the happy hour deal. The deal contains one pita, one appetizer, and one drink just for $16.There are two different pita options and I liked the one with sesame. The appetizer that has onion was also delicious. Sadly, I don't remember the names. My only complain is the location. I did not like the neighborhood as a first time visitor.

I visited this restaurant last year and wasn’t too impressed. I felt it was overpriced and more suited for fine dining. However, I decided to give it another go this year after spotting a happy hour special on my feed that caught my interest. I’m so glad I did! The restaurant has undergone a redesign, and it feels much more modern compared to my last visit. The staff was incredibly friendly, which made for a pleasant experience. I enjoyed a small appetizer and a quick snack during happy hour. While I'm still on the fence about making this my regular spot, I definitely had a much better experience this time around. I recommend giving it a try! Visualizza piatti

I visited this restaurant last year and wasn't particularly impressed. I felt it was overpriced and seemed more suited for fine dining. However, I decided to give it another chance this year after spotting a happy hour special on my feed that piqued my interest. I'm really glad I did! They've revamped the space, making it feel much more modern compared to my last visit. The staff was incredibly friendly, which added to the positive experience. During happy hour, I enjoyed a small appetizer and a quick snack. While I'm still not entirely convinced this will be my go-to spot, I definitely enjoyed it much more than my first experience. I recommend checking it out!

Was initially going to come here for restaurant week this year but failed to read the fine print and didn't realize their restaurant week menu was only available M F. Despite this minor hiccup, my boyfriend and I still came here for dinner on a Saturday night and am so glad we did!!From their regular menu, we ordered the: Semolina pita Labneh Lamb meatballs Casarecce SpritzFirst of all their semolina pita is TO. DIE. FOR. I could eat mounds and mounds of this if I could. We paired this with their labneh, which was so refreshingly tangy. We also got their famous lamb meatballs I don't like lamb so this dish wasn't for me but my boyfriend really enjoyed it! For our entree, we went with our wai...

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
