"rustica is one of these fine restaurants that you want to go back and forth to make sure that they are all on the menu at least once, if not repeated. it is a family restaurant that has warm ambiente and always welcomes whether it is a first visit or the hundredth. I have been there for almost years, and I was rarely disappointed with their food or service and will continue to visit it either as a couple or as guests it is worth visiting."

"My wife and I are house shopping in the area and stopped in for dinner. Food was excellent and the staff from the hostess, waitress and manager were delightful. They asked if we wanted to be part of their rewards program. If we buy in that area we'll absolutely become rewards members. They had a Tuesday night game where you pick a number 1-16 and they pull a number from a jug. If you guess right you eat for free. Great idea. We look forward to stopping in again soon!"

"The food I took home tonight was excellent! I've used this takeout before and had to wait 30 to 40 minutes, often being served by young staff. However, I was encouraged to try it again under new management, and I was not disappointed. The food was delicious with generous portions. I highly recommend giving it a try—don't just take all the reviews at face value!"

"Bill’s Luncheonette is fantastic. They have great options for breakfast/brunch/and lunch. They are only open Wednesday Sunday but offer a variety of menu options and have specials as well. We’ve gone twice now and both times we’ve been pleased with what we’ve had. The avocado toast had delicious pickled onions, the waffle with berries came out piping hot and fluffy, and both Godfather egg wrap/sandwiches packed a ton of flavor. You can tell that everything is made to order, fresh and comes out as it’s made. The service is great as well and they’re pretty quick to get you your food. On busier days, they do have an online queue that I believe you can call in and place yourself on which is super helpful. The only 2 things to be wary of are the steps to get up to Bill’s are extremely steep so be careful and that the seats in the booth move if you’re back to back with another booth (if there’s kids beware of some movement). Overall, Bill’s is a wonderful breakfast and lunch place and we’d highly recommend going!"

"We visited Frix’s on Tuesday, right before dinner began for the evening. What an awesome gem! The restaurant itself felt upscale and clean, and the entrees we ordered were delicious. We’ve had a hard time finding a steakhouse with actual steak on the children’s menu, so this was a real treat for our daughter. Our first waitress had short brown hair and she didn’t really do a great job at checking on us. We sat without a drink refill for about 30 minutes until a new blonde waitress took over, and promptly took care of us. She was great. The creme brûlée I’d ordered for dessert didn’t have that iconic hard torched top so that was disappointing, but overall the food was excellent. After we paid our bill, I noticed that the first waitress charged us for a Michelob Ultra even though we didn’t order any alcohol. I don’t usually check the itemized receipt but I was curious about how much the desserts were since it was a verbal menu. We didn’t bother going through a refund process because we didn’t want to risk having $300 pending for several days until everything cleared correctly, versus the $150 that our check totaled with the error."

"Honestly don’t get all the hype around this place. Wasn’t that impressed. Brought our own wine, $50 corkage fee, didn’t offer to decant it despite it being a 7 year bottle. Found it a little funny that they call themselves “traditional” Italian and don’t offer olive oil with the bread, only butter. (Cultured but nothing special) Only one slice per person or they charge you extra. Very small menu and they have two eggplant appetizers. We were given the wrong one. Was bland either way. Also ordered the Bucatini Cacio to share was OK. Again pretty bland, and not nearly enough black pepper. Bucatini itself had good texture and definitely seemed made in house and fresh though. Mains were Conchiglie and the half chicken. Pesto flavor was underwhelming. Chicken dish was tasty however, the lemon and caper sauce was great. Our server was friendly and experienced, though not the most attentive. Filled our own wine glasses a couple times. Atmosphere was pleasant enough. Really wasn’t that busy for a Friday night despite the limited reservation availability earlier in the week. Came in with high expectations being a Michelin restaurant. Both myself and partner agreed that it didn’t meet them. Would give it another try however maybe give the tasting menu a chance when it’s available?"

"Next, we ordered the steak pie, served with mash, carrots, and peas. The steak was incredibly tender, complemented by a rich and savory gravy. The puff pastry was placed on top, and while it would have been nice baked in a crust, that’s just a minor detail. The carrots were fresh, sliced perfectly, and bursting with flavor. We also tried the mince and tatties, accompanied by skirlie, which is an oat-based side dish. The sauce for the mince had a subtle sweetness, and the skirlie was unique and delightful, unlike anything we had experienced before. For dessert, we couldn’t resist the sticky toffee pudding, a dish we had always wanted to try. The sponge cake was soaked in treacle, and the toffee sauce had a lovely finish with hints of brown butter. We also had the bread pudding, which was special with the addition of apricots and cranberries, alongside the usual raisins. There’s a great selection of interesting beers on tap. We enjoyed the Downeast Cider and Old Engine Oil, both of which were delicious. The service was prompt and friendly, and the gentleman behind the bar, possibly the owner, was from Scotland, which made for an enjoyable experience listening to his accent. The atmosphere was cozy, with about 12-15 tables and additional seating at the bar. I can imagine it gets quite busy on evenings and weekends. Overall, it’s a fantastic spot, and we will definitely return."

"On a recent voyage into the wild mountains of Southern Vermont, my group of Rugby lads were fiending for a pint and a bowl of comfort. On our way through the hills, we were desperate in our quest to find somewhere that would meet these criteria, and also have the 6 Nations game on a television. We frantically googled for something resembling anything from the British Isles or Ireland, and were able to find ourselves in this wonderful quaint pub. The owner, fully clad in his Kilt and Tartan, welcomed us in with open arms, not only providing us with frosty pints of the homeland, but with piping bowls of warm beef stew, and was even able to get our match on the telly. It was the perfect beginning to our incredible weekend in the north, and it was in no short thanks to the wonderful hospitality of MacLaomainn's. You can rest assured we will all be back whenever passing through. 10/10, no notes."

"Classic small town, family owned meat and three where every local eats. Reasonably priced menu as well as freshly cooked daily specials but they always have banana pudding! They don't sereve pre made hamburger patties, and their crinkle cut fries are perfectly crispy. Endless coffee and tea refills. I don't know how long it's been there, but it looks the same today as it did 30 years ago when I first walked in. The only difference is the NO SMOKING sign. Wheelchair accessibility: No obstructions. Street level entry."

"The Greek Gyro bowl was sizable and packed with generous portions of lamb and other essential ingredients—despite contemplating taking some home, I ended up finishing the entire bowl because it was simply that delicious! One of my friends showed restraint with the Baked Greek Spaghetti, leaving him quite a bit to take home of this remarkably tasty dish. My other friend thoroughly enjoyed the Santorini platter, which also boasted authentic flavors and generous serving sizes. I opted out of dessert that day, but Bell Greek features a wide array of homemade Greek pastries. Those delightful pastries lingered in my thoughts, prompting me to return a few days later to grab some, and I’m so glad I did! They were delicious and well worth the extra calories. It's worth mentioning that Bell Greek imposes a 4% surcharge for card payments, so it’s advisable to bring cash to enjoy your meal. During both of my visits, the restaurant wasn’t very busy."

"I just left this restaurant, and I didn't find it to be very warm or inviting. The atmosphere felt quite empty. A young woman brought the menu, but I already knew what I wanted, so I ordered right away to save her the trouble of coming back. The food was tasty and served warm, which was a plus. However, after that, I didn't receive any follow-up at my table. No one checked in to see if I needed anything, and as I ate, my glass went unrefilled until I finished my meal. Only then did the server come over when I asked for a drink refill. When the check was brought to me, it was presented in a rather awkward manner, with the person bending over and reaching across the table. It didn’t feel very friendly. I'm not upset about my experience, but I’m certainly relieved that there are plenty of other dining options available."

"Count your falafels when you order take out. I was shorted one and shorted pita. By the time I came home the hummus was like liquid. On hot days, putting hot falafel on cold hummus and salads just ruined everything. There goes that small fortune. Thank you for the fast response. I was speaking to a friend and she told me that take out is always less a falafel. I was not shorted a wedge of pita but all the pita. I did not notice that or the melted food until it was brought home. Frankly I don’t find the owner approachable. I will cut my losses."

"We went for my husband’s 50th birthday. Our first impression was that the GPS took us to an abandoned building. The outside photos online were definitely taken over 10 years ago. We had seen so many good reviews, so we really wanted to try it. My husband half joked asking if they had any birthday specials. The waitress was a little short in saying no, among other things, then proceeded to go to a table of regulars and tell them what he asked and gave them her opinion, and not quietly either. The key to good food and service seems to be only for those who are regulars. The restaurant requires reservations , yet only had 3 tables being used. There were 2 waitresses, one was in the back the majority of the time, and yet they curtly turned down a walk-in. There were only 2 other tables being serviced besides ours, yet we barely saw our server. The 2 tables of regulars, saw her considerably more. The food seems to be cooked one at a time, and mine was actually cold, except for the center. My husband tried veal for the first time, and said it had no flavor at all. He actually thought it had been boiled. The desserts were actually the worst things we have ever tasted. The lemon cake was saturated with caramel drizzle. Who puts caramel on lemon cake?? The Tiramisu was the worst we’ve ever had. Neither one of us could eat either one. One bite was more than enough. We’ve had better food at Olive Garden. Definitely not worth the 30 minute drive. The chef did talk to us, but how do you tell an Italian his food is awful? He spent several minutes throwing “big names” out of people who loved his food. I’d rather he be able to brag about his food, than of people who “claim” to love his food. We have had true authentic Italian food in Italy, but this was not even close. "Owner is rude, unprofessional, and should not be able to work in customer service. Went to see fathers band play on a Friday night, which they have done for over a year now. Reservations were made for 12 on the hottest night during the heat wave. They decided to let band know they were playing outside in their backyard which was unkept to say the least. It was 95 with 90% humidity. They set up tables that were opened and set for service. My family reserved a table for 12 inside like we always do. But! outside we were told in the sun only 9 people could sit on top of each other in the sun at reserved seat for 12. Not enough room. The Average age of the guests were 70 years old! But there were about 5 other open tables the open tables were. Open! No reserve signs. No hostess. My family sat at one of the tables next to my family and more family friends came and sat at the other open table. The owner Aaron I believe is his name came out and told three 80 year old ladies who drove 50 miles and get dinner and drinks were told to go sit in a dirty table shoved off to the side in the sun because these tables were reserved! As well as the one my family was at after I had purchased drinks. I, being a food director for 25 years said to him. You know you should put reserve signs on the table if they are reserved. His response to me was. I can do anything I want to. I said well we are all here purchasing food and drink from your restaurant and treating customers like that is very unprofessional. I said that’s just wrong making us move to a dirty table in the sun. He got in my face and said “who do you think you are lady??” I stood up and said I am a paying customer who is bringing money to your hurting business. I said I’m trying to give you some advice on how to be professional! He told me to get out of there. He was kicking us out. He will never ever have my family and fathers band there again! As we were walking out there were 10 open tables inside and zero customers waiting for a table! The place was close to empty. Appalling! This place should thank us for bringing any money to a place that serves cafeteria style food at best for $22 a plate for over cooked pork loin and canned gravy. The winter months we were literally the only customers and he was sketchy those times but we ignored his bad day. But it’s who he is. Thank you common. We went to comfort kitchen in Huntington about 4 miles before this hole and the food, service, and drinks were all awesome!"

"Went based on a recommendation from a local (we are in town for the weekend). If in the area definitely eat here. The staff was extremely friendly, beer was ice cold (three choices on draft but that one), and the food, OMG, everything was great. The wings were huge and served over fresh cut fries. We went with garlic parmesan,yum. I had the pot roast French onion open faced sandwich with fries and everything smothered in gravy. My husband had the purgh sliders. He finished off with a slice of apple pie that was amazing. They even had a great band playing while we dined."

Served hot and fresh, the best Mexican food I have had in a good while. Put Don Papa Grande on the top of the best places to eat out. Even saw the staff cleaning the restrooms which also was just as clean as the rest of the restaurant. I am very impressed and will visit again and again. Chester gem for sure."
