"Update: 8/25/24 Me and my husband stopped by for some drinks. We had Christina as a server. She was amazing despite her being in pain from her hip hurting. She is amazing and we will definitely be coming back just to have her as our server! I’m giving this place 4/5 because the first time I went here with my husband we had a great time. We got a great waitress. She was older and was super nice to us and asked if everything was okay. But today, the second time I went here we got a younger lady as a waitress. She took a while to get us our drinks and everything but that was fine. She could’ve been nicer to but that’s nothing. Our bill totaled out to be 41 and some change I gave her 60 and left a tip for her at the table. She came back with change and it was 16 and some change. I thought I had misread the receipt wrong so we asked for the receipt. And our change was supposed to be 18 and some. When we brought back the receipt it was like she knew that we would tell her that is what wrong. She automatically said “Did I give the wrong change?” Yes she clearly did. And her excuse was that she cashed the wrong table. If she wanted to tip herself with our money without telling us then she doesn’t deserve a tip at all. And no tip was left because I don’t know how many other people she does that to. I’ve been in the restaurant business and I know when someone is lying about stealing money. Honestly when we come back we will be asking for a different waitress, if we get her."

"My family and I have been going to Lucky’s for close to 20 years and sadly I have to say that I have never been as disappointed as I was tonight. The only bright spot was our server, Christine P, who was very professional and quick to address our concerns. I order the same cut of meat every time, 7 oz filet mignon, because I love it and it has always been great, that is until tonight. My steak was stringy, dry and a significant portion of it was inedible. My wife ordered her favorite steak that she typically orders, New York strip, and asked that it be cooked medium rare. My steak was also ordered medium rare, which it was. My wife’s steak was cooked through with a tiny sliver of pink in the center. To their credit, they collected my wife’s steak and put in an order for another one to be cooked medium rare. By the time she had received her correctly cooked steak, I had finished my meal and she had finished her side dishes. We didn’t even have the pleasure of eating our meals together. I will give Lucky’s another chance to make the food that we have for years enjoyed and have invited many friends and family members to join us so they too could enjoy the food at Lucky’s. I’m hesitant to invite anyone to join us when we do finally give Lucky’s another try, but my hope is that everything will be like it was before and then we will continue to spread the word about Lucky’s steakhouse and continue to enjoy it ourselves for a long time"

"The crust was very thin, which isn’t usually my preference, but it was surprisingly decent for an ultra-thin option. I typically enjoy a thicker crust, but this one worked well enough. The sauce wasn’t spectacular, but it was certainly better than most fast-food chain pizzas. The 12-inch pizza was a fair size, enough for two adults, with no leftovers to take home. We chose the two-topping pizza over the specialty veggie pizza, which had broccoli—something my husband wasn’t keen on, while I had no issue with the idea. The pizza cost $12, which is a pretty standard price given the size, location, and quality. Our server provided us with a loyalty punch card, explaining that after ten purchases, we earn a free pizza, a nice perk for regular customers. Our pizza arrived just ten minutes after we ordered, and our waitress was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. She suggested we try the all-you-can-eat lunch buffet if we return, as well as their new specialty burger offerings. It was a pleasure to chat with her, and she filled us in on current cocktail specials. I took a quick glance at the burger menu and saw they now offer a gourmet peanut butter burger with bacon. I’m not quite sure how I feel about that, but it piques my curiosity. My husband mentioned he’d likely give it a try during our next visit. In addition to the gourmet burgers, they had all the classic Italian dishes like ravioli, spaghetti and meatballs, and fettuccine Alfredo. However, I noticed a lack of vegetarian items, which was disappointing. I would have liked to try the ravioli, but they all contained meat, so that eliminates options for me and other non-meat eaters. The restaurant’s interior had a nostalgic feel, reminiscent of traditional Italian eateries from my childhood, though with some modern updates like plasma TVs and pendant lighting. The plastic canopies above the buffet, bar, and pickup area gave it a dated look, but it added to the charm in a nostalgic way. They also had a nice outdoor patio for alfresco dining, with tables shaded by umbrellas. Next time we’re in the area and don’t want fast food, I’m sure we’ll return to Twin's, possibly trying more than just pizza. My husband keeps mentioning that peanut butter burger... Overall, I’d rate this restaurant close to four stars—specifically about 3.8—so I’ll round it up to a 4."
